(April’s POV)
While Uncle Wyatt and Aunt Lily were talking with Mia I took the chance to sidle up to Ken and tease, “Well hello, Kenny.” I batted my eyes at him playfully, drawing out the name so it sounded really sweet. So it wasn’t a simple ‘Kenny’ it was more like ‘Kennnn..eeeee’.
I know he hates that name. He’s alway correcting people when they try to use it. So, of course, he rolled his eyes at me when I said it. So I continued, still drawing out his name to tease him further, “It’s so nice to see you, Kennn…eee. We were beginning to think we should send out a few trackers to find you, Kennn…”
I almost burst out laughing when he growled at me and interrupted me mid-name to say, “Knock it off, lil Sis. You’ve made your point.” He was actually a bit mad but all I could do was giggl
