(Alex’s POV)
When Winter told us all what happened last night with his Dad and Uncle we laughed. We always find it funny that they think we don’t know about sh*t. What gets me is that had the shoe been on the other foot they’d have been p*ssed that we’d kept it from them.
Anyway, that was yesterday. Today we’re meeting with that girl from Australia. Ken was actually upset yesterday when he got home and told us she’d ghosted him. Or so he thought, anyway.
He’d been trying to reach her for hours and couldn’t. So he got upset. But it turned out she had put her phone on airplane mode and forgotten to take it off. So when she arrived she just got a cab to her hotel. They probably walked right past one another in the airport without noticing, too.
