(Alex’s POV)
My Dad called us down for a meeting after breakfast. I don’t really wanna go, if I’m being honest. I know they all wanna get this all settled, but I wish they’d just let us have a day when we don’t have to think about it.
Though I will say this, waking up with April in my arms, in our own room, with no supervision, felt so awesome. I didn’t even wanna get outta bed this morning. Right now I’m waiting for her to get done in the shower so we can head down to breakfast.
I hope Nana Sarah made chocolate chip pancakes. That’s April’s favorite. Especially when she’s pregnant. “Where are you guys, Alpha?” Jake asked in a mind-link and I rolled my eyes. But then I smiled.
