CHAPTER 4: Should I give him a chance

Ava's POV

I woke again to find myself still in the hospital. As I looked around, a doctor walked in. She checked to see if I was alright . I was but still physically weak. I don't know how long I stayed in the hospital but I was eventually discharged. I don't know why I felt sad that I didn't get to see the man again. After I pleaded with him to break the bond, I never saw him again. As I was discharged, I was thinking I finally have freedom until a car pulled up in front of me and a tall man walked out. He looked like someone with high authority, maybe a beta or a gamma. I moved to the side, not to block his path so I won't get a beating. But then he stood in front of me calling me by my name " miss ava, please follow me ". He guided me to the car, I was wondering what was happening, how did he know my name. I didn't obey him, I ignored him and refused to enter the car, I was pushed in by the man and before I could process what is going on, the man had entered the car and locked the doors. I was scared on what will happen to me, I was just let free, no, no. But before I could say anything, he quickly reassured me " don't worry miss ava. The alpha told me to bring you to his house to live with him ". I was scared but I managed to ask " who is the alpha ". " The alpha will introduce himself when you meet him later ". " Wait, what, am going to meet the alpha " I thought .

lost in my thoughts, I didn't realise when we arrived. " follow me, the alpha want to see you immediately ". I followed to beta to a room and the sign says " The Alpha's Study ". The beta whose name was nick knocked on the alpha's door and opened it and gestured for me to enter. I was not sure what to do but compiled to avoid a scolding. As I enter the room, I was mesmerised by the interior of the office. I looked ahead and saw the alpha, I bowed to him in respect. The alpha just looked at him and didn't say a word I was getting worried on what I have done wrong. " Alpha, I " I was cut short by the alpha to stop. Then I realised that he doesn't know I am wolfless so I told him I have no wolf and the look on his face was something I couldn't understand. He order his maid to take me to my room and I haven't seen his ever since. it has been a week since I last saw the alpha and I have been trapped in this room. The maid told me the alpha told them not to let me out. I wonder what I ever did to deserve such life. more days went by and one day I over heard from one of the maid that the alpha is finally getting married. I was shocked but then I thought to myself no alpha will want a wolfless she wolf as the luna but why lock me up, why not just let me go free.
