I could hardly believe it. The last few hours had been a whirlwind of dread, despair, and prayers that kept me hopeful. Now, standing here in this cold cell, I was overwhelmed with a joy I hadn't dared to feel in way too long. I jumped up, a squeal escaping my lips, the sound echoing through the once oppressive walls that had felt like my prison for an eternity. "Praise the Lord!"
