Cassandra was very nervous. She took in a deep breathe and lifted her head. She was ready to face whatever was waiting before her. "Just remember I'm right here with you." Luke said grabbing her hand.He opened up the door and they both say Maria standing outside the door with a pissed off look on her face, crossed arms, and tapping her foot. "I'm glad you two bonding, but I was out here losing my mind and one more minute away from brusting thru the door.!" "Everything is okay, it really is I'm sorry you was worried my friend and I couldn't do this without you." Cassandra said leaving Luke's side and wrapping her arms around her best friend. Maria instantly wrapped her arms around her friend while the relief was instant on her face. "Are you okay?" Cassandra asked Maria. "We really need to talk about fixing your aura, but first I know you have to go meet the pack. I will be right here beside you." Maria said. Cassandra grabbed stepped back and grabbed Luke's hand as he lead her down the winding the staircase. The staircase was dark mahogany winding down to the right. The whole house was beautiful with it's floor to celing windows. It had beautiful metal accents light fixtures. They came to the end of the staircase and walked down the narrow hallway to find a huge room with what looked be what Cassandra would have thought was a ball room. There was round tables with white linen table clothes. There was a head table with white table cloth that had dark color chairs. There was a whole banquet spread out on one side of the huge room with everykind of breakfeast food you could think of. The group of at least fifty people bowed their heads in respect of their Alpha. "Rise my fellow pack mates. I am pleased to share with you the great news that I have been fortunute enough to find my other half of my soul, my true soul mate.I will expect everyone to treat her with respect as she is your new Luna and I will not tolerate any disrespect. Is that understood?" Luke's deep alpha voice rang throught the room with a following of "Yes, Alpha." that was replied to him. "Good, Now everyone eat and enjoy." Luke commanded. Cassandra caught more than a few angry and jelous looks from the females and other looks of apperciation from the males that made her skin crawl. She was grateful for Luke staying next to her. She was very grateful to leave the watchful eyes of the pack. Luke took her outside and she could finally breathe. "Thank you for gettting me out of their I couldn't breathe and felt so uncomfortable with everyone watching me."Cassandra confessed. "Generally, we don't eat in the great hall very often exept for special occasions. It won't always be that way we generally eat in the main room at different times as there are many different jobs in the pack that occur at different times." Luke said. "Well, that does make me feel better." Cassandra said. "You need to be prepared as you are the Luna, or will be" Maria said. "I thought we could go for a walk and you could tell us what you and your elders will need to help my mate get her aura back." Luke said looking unimpressed at Maria. Maria went to say something back when she noticed that Cassandra wasn't around. "Cassandra, where did you go?" Maria yelled out. "Over here!" she heard her friend say. Luke and Maria rushed to her side. Cassandra kept walking weaving thur the trees like she knew where she was going. "Where are you going?" Luke asked his mate. "I'm not sure, I just feel like I need to go this way. I feel a connection. Could it be our bond?" "I'm not sure, but I will make sure you are safe, always." Luke said sounding concerned. "This is Great!" Maria said all but jumping up and down. "How do you mean?" Luke asked. "This means she is finding her own way back to her aura...It means that when it's time for the ritual it shouldn't take as long or be as hard on her." Maria said rolling her eyes.Cassandra kept winding thru the trees, up the hills, and followed the hidden stream to an grassy clearing. She was grinning ear to ear as she unlaced her boots and took off her socks to feel the soft grass under her feet. "This is perfect! I can't explain it but this feels like home to me." She looked at the exciment in her friends face and the paleness of Luke's face. "What's wrong?" She asked.Luke was opening up his mouth to speak when the sound of wind roaring was with the wind picking up. Soon, none could stand as flashes of blue and purple whirled around. They gathered until bright lights flashed and four women stood in front of them. The wind was compeletly calm now. Cassandra looked over at Maria whom by the look on her face knew these women. Cassandra didn't get a chance to study the women before a large black wolf with green eyes was jumping in front of her snarling and growling so loud the ground actually shook beneath her feet. When the woman in royal blue robes stepped forward, he lunged and jumped towards her. The strange woman stopped him in mid air. Maria cleared her thoart and said " Umm, Luke and Cassandra. This is my mom and aunts. They are going to help us unlock Cassandra's aura." "Of course that only works if your wolf here actually behaves.If not we will leave." Maria's mom in Blue robes said which in return was met with a growl even though Luke was still frozen in air."I'm greatful for your help and I do truly thank you but do you think you could relase Luke NOW." Cassandra said feeling power she didn't know she had. "You look just like your mom, my name is Bonnie. She was my best friend and fellow witch." This was met with disapproving grunts from the other three women. "Your bond grows strong already with him. We will help you in anyway we can." Bonnie said. She waved her arm and relased Luke whom still growled in disapproval. He walked up to Cassandra pressed his wolf against her. "I'm okay really." He huffed and trotted behind a tree. A minute later he came back with black basketball shorts and a white sleeveless shirt on. " A little warning would have been greatly apperciated." He said angerly at Maria. The women laughed. "She didn't call us here, actually She did." Bonnie said pointing at Cassandra. "How did I call you here?" she asked stepping forward desparte to know. Luke stepped in between them with his arms crossed and growled."Calm down pup" another woman in purple robes said with an eye roll. Which made Luke actually snarl out. "Okay, why don't we all step back, calm down and start over." Maria said trying to create peace between everyone. "We don't have time for all of this. She is in danger and needs her strength unlocked now." Bonnie said with intensity that put everyone at unease and they could hear the other pack members howl in anger many miles away.
