Clay was a middle age man with black salt and pepper hair. He was 5'9 with a beer gut but when he said the rush was here he wasn't lying. Cassandra and Maria looked and saw that more than half of the resturant was filled up. "I will take the left" Maria stated matter of factly. "Cassandra you take the right and Clay you handle the bar." The hours and orders flew by. Cassandra relized this was probally going to be the best day in tips she has ever had. She all of a sudden felt a set of eyes on her. As she turned around after wiping off one of the tables she noticed a man had sat in one of her booths. Well, maybe a man wasn't the right way to describe him. He was s*x and danger all wrapped in one very delicous package. He had Jet black hair, green eyes, tattoos on his neck and down his arms and cassandra was willing to bet he was tattooed under his shirt as well. His black shirt was barly containing his muscles. he was like a very well built linebacker or fighter. muscles on top of muscles and the pirceings just added more to his look. Maybe he was a biker that would explain the look. Cassandra never had anyone effect her like this before. Her panties was soaked and her mouth was dry she knew her n*****s was hard without even having to check. "I will be right with you" she said to the mystery man. He just nodded his head she walked to the back to put the dish cloth back and Maria grabbed her arm"Girl, I want to be you right now. Damn that man is s*x on legs." "Shhh...he will hear you." Cassandra repiled but she couldn't argue with her friend. Cassandra braced herself and walked back out with a more cofindent sway of her hips towards him. "Hi, my name is Cassandra. I will be your waitress today. What can i get for you?" The strangers eyes roamed over her body and she began to feel flush. She never had anyone look at her the way he was looking at her now. Like all he wanted was to throw her on a table and have her for the main course and dessert. The pull she felt towards him was immediate and even found her self unconsiously biting her lip and taking a step closer. "Just a glass of water" said the stranger. "I'm waiting on someone." "No problem I will be right back with your water." Cassandra turned around to go get his water that she might have to pour on herself if her body kept reacting this way. As she walked back out to the man she found that he had disappeared. She looked around the room to see if maybe his friend had showed up but he just vanished. She found herself more than disappointed. She walked over to Maria who was finshing wiping off her tables as the rush was over and only a few people was still in the section. "Hey girl, did you see where my customer went?" Maria looked up a little confused "Please tell me that he didn't leave you with check?!" "No, no, no. Nothing like that he asked for a glass of water while he was waiting for his friend and when I returned he was gone." Cassandra calmly said trying to keep the longing out of her voice. "No, girl i'm sorry I was trying to finsh up my tables before we can get out of here. That was a crazy rush. I haven't seen it that busy in a while." Maria sighed. "I agree it was nuts, ok I'm going to go finish up so we can leave togather." Cassandra said walking away. She was very disappointed that the stranger left before she could even get his name. "That was the best day on tips I have ever had!" Cassandra said excitedly. It was enough to cover her rent if she hadn't already had it covered until the end of the year and it was just now June. "I know right? The best part is now we have time to get ready to go out!!!" Maria said jumping up and down. "Although, I'm going to have to take a nap after that shift. You wanna come over to my house and chill out until tonight?" Maria asked. "No, I'm going to go for a run before tonight. I want to know excatly how to break it to todd that it's over. Thank you by the way for being there with me when I do it." Cassandra said. "That's what friends are for girl. See you tonight!" Maria waved bye and left in her candy apple red mustang. Cassandra was getting ready to open her door when she felt like she was being watched. She quickly looked around and didn't see anyone or anything. She shoved it off and left and went home. Cassandra came in and dressed in her yoga pants, grey tank top that was longer than most tank tops, laced up her tennies shows and grabbed her ear pods. After some warm up streches she walked down stairs and across to the running trail in the field. She placed her ear pods on and lost herself in the music while trying to figure out the best non confinational way to break up with todd. She hoped he didn't argue with her when she did it. She would stick to her plan of breaking up with him and then leaving she really didn't feel like partying tonight. After five more laps there was a huge flash of lighting. "AHHH" she screamed. Cassandra had gotten so lost in running and being in her mind she didn't see that all the people had left and the dark blue almost black stroms clouds was all around her. BOOOM! Another clap of lighting and thunder had the ground shaking. Cassandra stared at the sky and when the next flash of lighting snapped her out of her amazement she started running back to the apartment. She just had to get past the next corner that had trees so you couldn't see the rest of the running track or field. Something made her stop. Her instincts taking over she stopped. She felt danger was near, but the storm was getting worse as the rain started pouring. She made a spilt second descision of back tracking and going back the other way as fast as she could. The lighting and thunder seemed to be on her heals as she pushed herself as fast as she could. Every inch of her body was screaming at her. The muscles burned but she also felt if she didn't go faster whatever was in those trees was going to show it self. BOOM! Another flash of lighting she was almost there... if she could just reach her apartment she would be safe. When she came to the tracks entrance she stopped and forced herself to turn around just to see if she was being crazy or if there was something there. She didn't know why she did this as she was terrified and soaked to the bone with water from the storm but the thought of not knowing was worse. She turned and found a pair of golden eyes illuminating thur the tree line. She knew something was there but what could be that high off the ground unless if maybe it was in a tree. The showed seemed to step forward when another flash of lighting and thunder shook the ground again right in between her and whatever animal it was. All she could make out after then was the eyes disappearing in the trees. Another flash of lighting that shook her out of her thoughts of what she just seen or thought she had seen and she ran across the parking lot and into her apartment and locked the deadbolts. She hoped that would keep it out but a thought lingered in the back of her mind. If what she seen was correct then nothing could keep it out.
