"What do you mean she's not yet back?" I asked, walking into my office where Dante sat, looking at me like I was overreacting.
"She comes back late from work, it's not the first time–" He rolled his eyes.
"Coming back by this time is not normal and I warned her against it." I retorted, anger rising in my voice.
I could tell that Dante wasn't bothered by this but I couldn't get the bad feeling off my mind.
It wasn't the first time she returned late from work but I'd already told her not to return late and I doubted that she would without a solid reason especially after what she'd found out at work that day.
