Chapter Eighteen

Erica's POV

As I twisted the door knob, I forcefully opened the door and came face to face with a young man who looked frightened by my action, I was almost about to drag him by the collar until I saw a pizza box in his hands and remembered I had ordered pizza on my way home. I breathed out in relief as it felt like air was just being pumped into my lungs. He asked if I was alright to which I responded in the positive and then collected my pizza, paid and then locked my door without even bothering to give him a smile or even a thank you. I walked to my bed and passed out in relief, I really needed help...

Mrs Joanna's POV

(flashback continuation)

Life went on as usual with my partying, working husband and the children who were being cared for by the maids. Some time later, I and my husband got invited for a function at his work place and after the whole party, we managed to get home though drunk. The next week after that, I began to throw up and feel drowsy and then decided to go for check up. I stared at the doctor in shock and fear as he uttered the words " congratulations ma you are pregnant", I almost passed out as my worst fears were resurfacing .

Terry's POV

I resumed work the next week and true to my expectations, I knew nothing about what I was getting myself into. The little knowledge I had managed to gather from books got me nowhere as the moment I stepped into the office, it was like the ground should open and swallow me up as I attracted the stares of everyone and it was like they expected me to do something which I wasn't aware of. I felt so bad as I had expected a warm welcome at least. I managed to make my way to dad's office with so much fear and upon getting in, I locked the door. As I thought of what to do, I immediately heard a knock on my door and froze...
