A Dangerous Desire
Sophia stood at the edge of the forest, her breath shallow as the moonlight bathed her skin. Her heart was racing—not out of fear, but from the growing heat inside her. The full moon was close, and she could feel the beast inside stirring.
Behind her, footsteps crunched the dry leaves. She turned slowly.
It was Marcus.
His black shirt was unbuttoned at the top, his strong chest rising and falling. His dark eyes were fixed on her, but they weren’t cold tonight. They were burning with something else.
Desire.
“You shouldn’t be out here alone,” he said, voice low and deep.
“I needed air,” Sophia replied, stepping back. “And space. Everything’s changing too fast.”
Marcus stepped closer. “You’re changing. And I’m afraid of what that means for both of us.”
