Colossal's : Legend of the Gods

Night time, moon is shining bright, up in the sky, reflecting it's glow on a lake that has been surrounded by a densly forest. Nearby the lake, a voices rang through the trees, almost like shouting. Two soldiers in a grey uniforms with a black vests were carrying metal boxes away from the truck and toward the cave that was located next to the lake. The cave looked old, almost like ancient and it seemed that this area was untouched by a human foot. One of the soliders that was carrying the box, drops it on the ground and breath heavily. (Solider 1) "Why do we have to do all this hard work, while those nerds enjoying themselves inside the cave" (Solider 2) "We signed a contract. All we can do is to follow their orders and finish this as soon as we can so we can return to our families by the end of the week" Complaining a little bit more, soldier finnaly lift the box and with the help of second solider they drag the box inside the cave. As they walked in, several more soldiers were helping two man's and a woman, which appeird to be scientists, to stack the boxes infront of a giant old, almost like ancient, metal doors that was closed shut. Female scientists name was Rebecca which it could be seen from her ID card on her chest. She had a grey coat with red logo sign on her right chest, with words spelled WIC. She takes some papers from the suitcase and walks over to second male scientist. His name was Leo and he was a young man with glasses and freckles on his face. He was typing on a lap top, entering informations and he speaks to Rebecca. (Leo) "It has shown that metal door is fourty five centimeters thick. That amount of explosives should be enough to open it. (Rebecca) "Leo, if it's inside that what we thought it is. We could change whole history of a mankind. Everything could be rewritten. Imagen all the possibilities it could benefit to human's when we acquire all those lost informations. (Leo) "Let's not rush things. First, we need to open that door. Pointing at great metal doors that was almost as ten times bigger then humans. Third scientist rushes over to Rebecca and Leo. His name was Mark. He was a older man with grey beard and tired looking face. He places book on the table next to Rebecca and Leo and with worried voice tone he speaks. (Mark) "I... I don't think we should open those doors.." He spoke with worried expression on his face and very concerned, but Rebecca and Leo dismisses his concerns quickly and begins arguing with him. (Rebecca) "We already went to far to acquire everything for this mission. We sacrificed so much to back away now" (Leo) "If you wish to go, then go." (Rebecca) "We got our orders. (Mark) "I don't care for theirs orders! What if, what ever is behind that wall, get's released somehow?" (Rebecca) "Mark, we took a safety measurements. If something goes wrong, we can terminate it in the same moment. And if you back away now, you will never be able to return. Is that what you want Mark? Mark hesitates but nods. Soldiers finished stacking boxes with explosives infront of the doors and everyone leaves the room as they prepare to activate them. Rebecca and Leo held hands as soldiers pressed the red button, setting those explosives on. A loud explision was heard that came from the inside of the cave and then smoke come out from the room where they been earlier. They slowly walked inside with soldiers in front of them, coughing from the dust. As they walked deeper in, they passed the pieces of the door that was scattered all around the room. They lighted up flashlights and walked slowly through the hole and into, which it seemed to be an old ancient tunnel. Everything was very filthy and dark. Floor was covered in dust and water that was dripping from the ceiling above, walls was covered in filth and there was a chains scattered all the way through the tunnel. Leo was scared at first by the vibe he got from the tunnel, but Rebecca comforts him by taking his hand and smiling at him reassuring him to proceed. Mark hesitated to even enter the tunnel at first, but eventually he followed after Rebecca and Leo. After walking for a bit they reached an old, ruined, big room with a big well in the center of the room. Rebecca approached the well and noticed that it was emoty. Then they watched around the room and lighted up walls around them with flashlights which had strange carvings and pictures painted on the walls. Rebecca instantly begins looking at the paintings with fascination and excitement. She touches the wall as she was examining drawings one by one. Drawinga was presenting a creatures that looked almost like humans. They were sitting on the chairs that looked like a thrones and they were surrounded in a circle, while bellow them were peoples that was bowing to them. Rebecca points out how strange the creatures were looming. The creatures on the drawings was way bigger then those beneath them. They had blue capes, dark blue skin tone, golden color eyes and they had longer head shapes then any human. Rebecca runs around the room examining all of the paintings as they approached north wall on wich was another big door, but this one was made out from the wood. Above the door was a ten strange symbols carved into the stone. (Rebecca) "Those symbols..." (Leo) "It is probably the alphabet that they were using" (Rebecca) "Yes... Magnificent... Can your computer recongize any of these symbols from the books that we found and that you scanned into program?" Leo takes his computer and sets it near the door. He takes a picture with his phone and sends them to the software on computer that begins analyzing the symbols. After few moments, computer succeded to decipher only few symbols. (Leo) " First one is Uha second Hegho, Third Rashu, Ipha, Tham, Ehra, Senha and last few computer couldn't recognize... (Rebecca) "What it means?. (Leo) "Tomb of the God, Master" Rebecca lift her gaze up and looks at the symbols amazed. (Leo) "Rest of symbols could mean... Rulers or Masters but comouter couldn't decipher them" (Rebecca) "It is alright" Rebecca turns around toward the soldiers ordering them to knock the doors down and they obliges. They sets once again explosives infront of the door, but in lesser ammount, as these doors are wooden ones and they only require small ammount of the explosives to be cracked. Rebecca and the others walks over to the other side of the room as soldiers activate explosive and the doors falls into the pieces. The dust disperse and they proceed to the next room. In the next room there was a grand staircase. Each block on those stairs were five times bigger then any of them. Everything was dark but they could see that room was in circled shape, and they couldn't see how deep the stairs goes. Rebecca snatched flashlight from Mark and tossed it into the void. As the flashlight was falling down deeper and deeper, a light from a flashlight was slowly disappearing into the darkness, suggesting that bottom is way deeper than they assumed while they did calculations. (Leo) "Informations we acquired from Mayan's scripts were wrong" (Rebecca) "This stairs could be deeper then anything we encounter before" Rebecca orders soldiers to bring the ropes so they could go down, but Mark protested. (Mark) "We should return back to the first room and report to the facility of our findings so they could send more people's and equipments. We are not prepared to go that deep" (Rebecca) "We can proceed, we have enough of the ropes to go all the way down" (Mark) "Who knows what's down there! I vote that we go back to the first room" (Rebecca) "We are not going anywhere!" As they argued, Leo comes up with an idea. (Leo) "We can use Sparky? Rebecca and Mark looked at him confused (Leo) " I mean, we could send Sparky down there and check surroundings? (Rebecca) "Yes! Great idea Leo! Soldiers takes out dog shaped robot from a metal crate and Leo turns him on. (Leo) "Okay, I placed camera on his head so we can see everything he sees. (Rebecca) "Good, send him down!" Impatient and excited Rebecca usher's Leo to send the robot down. Leo types at keyboard on his computer some code and robot walks down the stairs. After a while Robot reached the bottom showing bones and dirt at the bottom through camera. The readings showed that the bottom is at 12.200 feet. Mark run his hands across his face in fear. (Mark) "That is insane! It is deep almost as Mariana Trench!" (Rebecca) "Do not speak noncences! Mariana Trench is way deeper" (Leo) "She is right, Mariana Tewnch is deep around 36.000 feet" (Mark) "You keep your eyes on the screen boy." Leo continues monitoring the robot as the robot walks through the great, old, arch and into another tunnel. (Rebecca) "It is like a maze down there. (Mark) "One more reason to back away now" (Rebecca) "Shh! What is there?" Leo orders robot to turn around spotting another hall to the left. (Rebecca) "Go through there" The robot, by Leo's orders, turns around and walks through the tunnel and then he reached a small, circle shaped, room with three doors. (Leo) "Which door we go first?" (Rebecca) "Turn the scan on so we can map the area" Leo presses few buttons on keyboard and robot starts spreading blue light around scanning walls, and the map prints on the computer back to Leo. Robot proceeds through the first door to the left that was leading to another stairs. They mapped pieces of the undergounrd structure until robot reached to one massive size room. Leo turns scan on and it is shown that the room was massively big with almost 50ft in lenght and 40ft in width. Rebecca places her hand on Leo's shoulder. (Rebecca) "That's where they burried him. Look at the readings in the middle! Scans showed a organic material's in the center of the room and appeired that it is not alive. Rebecca and her team along with soldiers decided to go to that room. After a while they reached this massive room revealing a great massive transparent stone rock in the middle. Rebecca orders soldiers to place explosives around the stone to release the body of a strange creature. Mark was terrified by the look of the creature that was trapped inside this stone. He tried to convince Rebecca to leave it for now but she didn't listened. Mark steps few feets awat as they activated explosives. As soon as explosive was activated a massive energy spike came out from the stone frying all of their electronics. Mark started panicking he turned around and ran outside the room, while Rebecca and Leo watched as massive creature opened it's eyes. Everything started shaking and cracking and rocks from the ceeling started collapsing on them. Few lucky soldiers started running toward the exit, while rest was instantly killed by the rocks that fell on their heads. Rebecca watched the creature moving inside the transparent rock, stunned and amazed, while Leo tried to pull her back to run away, but she just pushed him away causing Leo to hit his head on the rock. He dropped unconcious on the ground as Rebecca walks toward the creature smiling like that she was possesed. *** A miles and miles away, on the other side of the world. Sky was bright, a warm wind blew and shook the leaves on the trees, everything was so bright and it looked like a perfect summer day. Car stoped in front of a modern white house with brown windows. A young woman with blonde hair, pure skin and blue eyes, walked out from the car. She smiled as she looked around the neighborhood. Children's were playing with a ball across the street, an old man was walking his dog and a older woman next to her waved as she was planting small flower at her garden in front of her house. Young woman waved back and she took out brown paper bag out from the car. She walked to the porch and opened the door entering inside the house. She placed papper bag on the table and pressed button on a phone listening to the voicemails. Beep " Mrs. Willson, I am Yasmine Thompson from a Roberto's Cake Shop. Your order will be ready by 5 pm today, so you can pick up your cake at that time. Beep " Sandra, I will be home late tonight, the presentation took longer then we expected. We have a meeting now and after it I will be going home. I tried to call you on your cellphone but, like always, you forgot to charge it. Love you" Young woman's name is Sandra Willson. She was a housewife with no children, married to young man that was working as a scientist in a research facility called WIC Company. Sandra deleted voicemails and she took her phone out from her bag and placed it on the charger. Sandra then walks to her kitchen and she took apron preparing ingredients to make a dough for a cookies, but the doorbell interupted her. Sandra washed her hands quickly, took the apron off and walked to the door opening them. A young brunette woman with a wide smile on her face walked in. (Julia) "Girl I couldn't reach you whole day!" (Sandra) "I know, I am sorry! I forgot to place my phone on a charger." (Julia) "So, did you got ready everything for tomorrow? (Sandra) "Yes, but I don't think that he will appreciate it. He got stuck at the meeting tonight, again. He said that he will be home late tonight." Sandra walked over with her friend to the couch and they took a seat. Some time passed as they talked about marriage problems, about stress at work and about her friends, Julia's, relationship problems. Julia is Sandra's childhood friend. They grew up together and they remained best friends to this day. Julia was in a relationship with a mechanic guy Henry. Even that they lived together for few years already, Henry always avoided topic to take their relationship on another level. (Sandra) "Julia you have to tell him about the baby" (Julia) "I know. I know. But I am afraid. I am afraid of his reaction. What if I tell him and he runs through the door..." (Sandra) "Well, atleast you will know what type of a man he is. If he rans away from responsibilities now, it is better you know now rather then later. (Julia) "I do not want to become a single mother Sandra. I want him to be involved in raising our baby. (Sandra) "But, Julia, avoiding to tell him the truth could only cause harm rather then good. You must tell him and then we will see what will come next." Julia nods and she feels a little but comforted by Sandra's words. Julia and Sandra left the house and into the car. They started a car and drove to pick up a cake from a shop but then they felt some kind of an earthquake all of a sudden. Julia stops the car. (Julia) "Ah! An earthquake!" (Sandra) "It is probably just a minor one, why did you stopped a car?" (Julia) "I am terrified from an earthquakes! It feels like the ground could open at any time and swallows me" (Sandra) "Do not be ridiculous! Starts the car." Earthquake quickly stopped and Julia then pressed a pedal and they were moving again. They reached a sweet looking cake shop. Sandra took the box with a cake in it, and she payed the cashier in cash. As they were leaving the store, they felt another earthquake, but this one was a little bit more stronger. People's started panicking on the streets as tiles were falling down to the ground smashing into pieces. Julia took Sandra by the hand and dragged her back inside the store. (Julia) "Those tiles are like missels! You do not wish to be hitted in a head by it! Then once again earthquake stopped. They watched through the window for a moment and then they walked outside. (Sandra) "Weird.... This one was way stronger" (Julia) "I hate earthquakes..." They walked to their car and drove back home. As they were driving they talked a little bit more and Julia adviced Sandra to opens up to her housband and explain to him how she feels. Sandra walked inside her gouse waving to Julia as Julia drove off. That evening Sandra fell asleep at the couch. Television was still on, and on the news they reported of an earthquakes, explaining that it was 5.8 magnitude on the scale. The reporter provided an explanation saying that earthquake was caused by shifting of tectonic plates. In front of the couch, where Sandta was sleeping, was a small coffee table and on it was a bottle of wine with an empty glass next to it. Sandra wokes up by the sound of the door closing. A man with a black hair, wearing white shirt and a bag over his arm, walked in the room. Sandra stands up ribving her sleepy eyes. (Jason) "I am sorry babe. Did I woke you up?" (Sandra) "Hm.. yes.. It is alright. What time is it? Man looked at the wristwatch (Jason) It's almost 2 am" Sandra looked at him with a serious expression on her face. (Sandra) "2 am?? You never had meetings this late... What is going on Jason??" (Jason) "I told you. Presentation and meetings took longer than we expected. George was also there. We finished everything so tomorrow we will present everything we did to the CEO's." (Sandra) "Tomorrow? But.. You said that you are going to be free tomorrow?" (Jason) "Yes.. but today we presented our project to my boss so he decided that we should show it to the CEO's" Irritated, Sandra got up from a couch walking visibly angry towards the bedroom. Jason rushed after her taking her by her hand. (Jason) "Sandra, honey, don't be angry, please!" (Sandra) "You have forgotten what is tommorow!" Worried, Jason looked at Sandra, speaking carefully. (Jason) "W...What is tomorrow?" (Sandra) "I knew it... my mother was right about you all along! You will be sleeping at the couch tonight..." Sandra rushed to the bedroom slamming the door. Jason threw his bag on the chair and ran his hands through his hair. Jason then walked to the kitchen and he took calendar book placed on the counter and he ran through the pages realizing that tommorow is their anniversary. Jason slam his fist on the table and he closed calendar book, angry at himself. He rushed toward the bedroom, he stopped infront and knocked. (Jason) "Sandra... my love please open the door. I messed up. I am sorry! I know that it is our anniversary tommorow." But Sandra didn't replied. Jason walked over to the couch and eventually fell asleep. Sounds of crashing and explosions woke Jason up. Horrified, Jason stood up feeling a massive earthquake. He dragged himself to the window and looked outside seeing that his neighbors were running around in panic. Jason opened the front door and rushed outside just to see the buildings were collapsing by the strong magnitude of an earthquake. Just then a nearby gas station exploded. Many trees, street lamps and structures were falling to the ground. Jason ran inside yelling for his wife, Sandra. (Jason) "Sandra! Sandra!!" He dragged himself to their bedroom. He opened the door just to see that Sandra was collapsed on the floor with a bloody head. Jason lifted her up calling out to her in panic and Sandra opened her eyes. (Sandra) "W...What is happening??" (Jason) "Are you alright?" While a earthquake was continued to shake ground and destroying buildings, trees, cars, signs all around the city. Jason curled up in a corner holding Sandra in his arms tight. (Jason) "Everything will be alright. Everything will be alright, my love." Panicked Jason tried to comfort his scared wife while he tried to comfort himself as well. As the earthquake started losing on it's force, Jason slowly stood up and walked toward his phone. He dialed his coworker Greg. Phone keept ringing but nobody picked up. Jason took Sandra by her hand and liftted her up (Jason) "Get dressed, we are going to pick up Julia and Henry" (Sandra) "What is going on, Jason??" (Jason) "I am not sure yet, but... we need to go to my company" Sandra quickly putted on her clothes, grabbed a few things off from a counter and they rushed over to their car. Jason dialed Greg again, but once again no one was picking it up. Suddenly another massive earthquake striked causing ground to shake even more. Jason lost control of his vehicle and they hitted a truck that was parked. Luckily they got out only with few scratches. Jason took Sandra by her hand taking her out from a crashed car. They looked around them just to see that buildings around them were collapsing one by one. Peoples were panicking on the streets and many were injured by fallen trees, tiles and rubbles that fell off from the buildings. (Sandra) "What on Earth is going on!?" (Jason) "Call Julia and tell her that we are on our way to pick them up." Sandra managed to call Julia and Julia picked up almost instantly. (Julia) "Sandra! Are you alright?! Where are you??" (Sandra) "We are coming to your place to pick you up. Are you and Henry alright??" (Julia) " Yes, we hid in our basement until the earthquake pass" (Sandra) "It is not safe underground! You have to go out right now!" But the line gets cutted off. Jason spotted a car and he rushed toward the car pulling Sandra inside with him. They startted the engine and they proceeded with driving. They reached Julia's and Henry's house, just to see that their house was already collapsed. Sandra screamed and ran toward the rubbles calling out to Julia but Jason stopped her. (Jason) "Sandra! It is dangerous to go there!" (Sandra) "No! Julia! Julia!" As she was screaming, she tried to reach the house, but Jason pulled her back to the car when a voice caught their attention. (Julia) "Sandra! Sandra liftted her head up and ran toward Julia embracing her. (Sandra) "Are you alright?! Are you hurt?" (Julia) "I am fine, Henry got us out right before our house collapsed" (Jason) "Quickly! Enter the car, we need to go now!" Jason, Sandra, Julia and Henry rushed inside the car and Jason hitted the pedal. As they were driving the earthquake was at this point so strong that it caused ground to c***k. As Jason was driving Julia noticed a rift up ahead she started yelling. (Julia) "Jason! A rift!!!" Jason hitted the brakes and stops the car just few inches from the hole. He pulled car backward and then he turned to the right accelerating speed to catch up the cracks so he can pass to the other side. (Sandra) "We are not going to succed to pass the rift!" (Jason) "Yes..we will!" Jason hitted the pedal driving up to 13p miles per hour, catching up to the rift that was splitting the ground next to them. Jason rolled the wheel to the left as everyone in the car started yelling and screaming. But Jason succeded to drive over to the other side. They watched behind them as the rift was growing. Ground was collapsing, explosions was everywhere. Jason continued to drive through the city reaching to his company. It was a large, tall building with a big sign at the center of the building that had letters spelling WIC. Jason ordered everyine to leave the car and rushed inside just to see that building is already deserted. They took the stairs reaching to fifth floor where Jason's office was. As they entered, Jason saw Greg's phone on Greg's desk. Jason smashed his hand on the table and ran to the computer typing in a rush. (Sandra) " What are you doing???" (Jason) "I have to check where they left" After tapping in a hurry for a bit, he found the adress where his coworker went. He also typed on a second computer to check out the earthquake magnitude. He found the adress of a bunker where his coworkers left. (Jason) " There! And then on a second computer, a software showed that magnitude of a earthquake was 11.5 and that epicenter was in a Norway but that every moment a new epicenters was creating. One of epicenters was in the center of their city. Jason writes down the adress Burkwatch Road 45 and he turned around tkward his companions. (Jason) "Come, let's go!" As Jason, his wife and his friends entered car, Jason quickly started the engine and they drove away. They looked behind them to see that the WIC building, that they were in just moment ago, collapsed to the ground. (Henry) "Where are we going now?" (Jason) "To the bunker. We will be safe there." (Sandra) "What bunker? What is going on Jason??" (Jason) "I do not know! I need to speak to Greg to confirm my theory..." As they drove off from the city in the mirror they could see almost whole city collapsed to the ground. Many peoples were running away from the city, some in cars, some on foot, but new rifts was opening around causing many to fall inside. Just then a black some smoke appeir in the center of the city. Julia turned around with Sandra at the back seat looking at the strange black figure arising from the ground. (Julia) "Dear Lord!" (Sandra) "What is that?!" (Henry) "What ever it is.. It is massive!" Jason looked at car mirror shocked at the sight of a black figure, but with face expression looked like that he could assume what that that is. He looked then back at the road accelerating the speed and leaving just dust behind the car as the car dissapeird down the road.
