Daisy is the new face at the ski club and my boyfriend's mistress. Her persona is that of a ditzy beauty; coquetry and cuteness are her deadly weapons. On the day of the championship final, she secretly switched my skis. As I plummeted from the high platform, the skis suddenly went out of control. I was thrown off course and slammed into the safety railing at the edge of the track.

Daisy ran towards me, her worried expression belied by her malicious words: "If you die, your boyfriend, your position at the club, all will be mine!"

"My dear, just step aside for me and die peacefully!"

A surge of immense resentment and hatred burned within me like a fierce fire. When I opened my eyes again, I found myself back at the starting point of the competition.

chapter 1
The biting cold wind swept past, yet I felt a wave of heat. Looking up at the snow-capped mountain, the echo of my body crashing into the iron railing seemed to linger in my mind. For a moment, I couldn't tell if this was a dream or reality. The referee's starting whistle blew. I looked at my opponent, Maria, whose posture was identical to that of my past life, as if I had seen it in a dream. Instinctively, I plunged from the height, but my body slightly deviated from the predetermined position. The audience, filled with anticipation for me, the favorite to win, cheered in waves. However, I noticed Daisy, who frowned tightly as I slowed down, standing by the track. As thoughts swirled in my mind, my skis began to lose control. This time, instead of forcing a direction change, I let the skis detach and flew straight off the track. Daisy was just unlucky, being on the innermost perimeter, and she was hit hard in the leg by the ski. The entire venue fell silent, and the referee immediately announced a pause in the competition. I looked at the broken ski and then at Daisy lying on the ground, groaning in pain. I finally realized that everything that had just happened was not a dream or an illusion; I had truly been reborn! Clutching my ski pole tightly, I vowed that in this life, I would make Daisy pay the price! My coach strode to the side of the track, picked up my ski, and examined it carefully. With his experience, a single touch was enough to sense that the base wax on the ski was off, clearly tampered with. But with the competition ongoing, he told me that after negotiation, I could change my ski and continue the race, albeit with a deduction in points. This ski had been in my possession since the start of the competition, the only exception being when Daisy held it for a while before I entered the locker room. With a suspicion in my heart, I asked he to immediately retrieve the surveillance footage to prevent it from being deleted. Understanding the gravity of the situation, he left without a word. Meanwhile, medical personnel entered to prepare to take Daisy away. The referee signaled for us to prepare, and the competition would continue shortly. However, instead of heading to the external passage, the medical staff directly carried Daisy onto the competition field. The referee was about to intervene when my boyfriend, Jason, pushed him aside. I frowned, recalling the words Daisy said to me before my death; it was clear she had long coveted Jason. Now, seeing Jason rush from the audience to Daisy's side, seemingly ready to defend her, it seemed they had been involved for a while. Tragically, in my past life, I was so foolish that I didn't notice the two closest to me conspiring behind my back. Now, knowing the truth and recalling the signs, everything became clear. For instance, Jason would only prepare drinks and pay the bill when Daisy was present. Eventually, it evolved to the point where he would only join me for training and competitions if Daisy was invited. Ironically, I naively thought Jason was just too busy with work. Suddenly, a sharp pain in my shoulder brought me back to reality. Jason withdrew his hand after hitting me and saw me glaring at him. A flicker of guilt crossed his face, followed by a loud accusation: "You almost killed her! And you don't even apologize after hurting someone. Just as I thought, a child without a mother has no manners at all." These words were like a bucket of ice water poured over me. As a child, my mother was buried in an avalanche to save me and left this world forever. It's a pain I carry for life, and the person closest to me stabbed me in the heart with this very knife. At this moment, Maria stormed over. Seeing Jason hit me from afar, she rushed up and forcefully pushed him away: "What are you doing? The problem was with the ski, what does it have to do with her? And the competition isn't over yet! You can't just rush in here with someone. It will be dealt with after the competition." Faced with Maria's questioning, Jason clearly lacked confidence. Daisy, lying on the stretcher, cautiously tugged at his sleeve and spoke pitifully: "Jason, it's all my fault. I'm so clumsy, I mess everything up."
