Idalia took off, not even bothering to tell me where she was going. It upset me that she was holding a secret and wouldn’t trust me enough to tell me.
I waited until she was far enough and masked myself with a different scent than mine before I shifted and took off behind her. I could see Thora flying through the woods, trying to hide herself from me.
“Where are you going?” I whispered to myself as I kept following her. A few minutes later, she landed on a hill. A remote cabin was sitting on the land and I landed myself, shifting into my human form to hide in the trees.
