After a few minutes of wandering mindlessly around the dome's hallways, that seemed empty and eerily silent for him although in reality it was not, Rion snapped out of his reverie. The noises came back and his attention to the real world resurrected.
He finally heard loud episodes of laughter, a few yells and blissful giggles. Instantly, he recognized the tine of Macko's laughter, and then Onew's. Followed by the voices of Zero Degree, especially of Calyx and Hans quarreling.
Following the sound, Rion steadied his emotions and face. With all his might, he tried to force a smile and prepared himself to face the people who knew him best.
