Sitting down in one of the armchairs in front of the fireplace in her room, Kelly picked up her tablet and leaned back wearily. As soon as Griffin’s first birthday party had ended, Tate had hurried back to his office, locking himself inside to finish going over applications with Greg, leaving her to help Ramona and Angelica clean up the mess. Between the three of them, they had cleaned it up in no time, and with Tate working, it had given her time to head over to the daycare to finish setting up. She had spent the rest of the afternoon there, only tearing herself away when Griffin had gotten hungry.
