Feeling a bit queasy, Kelly got out of bed and headed to the bathroom to take a nice, warm bath. Today was the day. The daycare was opening, although a week later than she had intended. It had taken that long to get through all the interviews for the packhouse and daycare staff and get all the paperwork signed and filed so they could start working. If she’d had more time, she would have insisted on taking another week to train the staff, but they were already running late. They would just have to learn on the job, something she hoped wouldn’t come back and bite her in the butt later.
