Kelly stood in front of Carrowyn’s house, her home now, key in hand. Her grandmother, Colleen, Angelica, and Ramona were at her side. Griffin, in Ramona’s arms, wiggled excitedly, anxious to get down and play with the toys in his diaper bag. Taking a deep breath, she took a step forward, heading to the door, ready to unlock what she hoped would be a new chapter in her life.
