Slipping out of the truck, Kelly, still reeling from the meeting with Carrowyn’s lawyer, headed into the hospital to relieve Greg from his babysitting duties, feeling apprehensive. Half of her hoped that Tate was asleep so she could put this conversation off for a little while longer, but at the same time, the other half of her hoped that he was awake and in a good mood. She wasn’t sure how he would take the news that Carrowyn had left her house to them and that she planned to keep it.
