Tate Groaning, Tate used the hospital bed to help him sit up as Greg knocked softly on the door to his room and entered, a strained grin on his face that told him that Greg really didn’t want to be there. He was a sight for sore eyes, Tate thought, glad that he had made it out safely the night of the attack. Kelly still hadn’t and wouldn’t tell him about that night, even though he had asked repeatedly to know how bad it had been. Pushing the thought to the back of his mind, he carefully watched as Greg sidled into the room, noticing the subtle changes that had occurred in his absence. The first thing he noticed was that Greg’s grin wasn’t as forthcoming as it used to be and that there was a reserved look in his eyes that had never been there before.
