Saving Her

"Forgot about your friend" Ben texted me.

"No man my boss is just keeping me way too occupied" I can't obviously tell him how.

"Want to go clubbing? There is a new club open in town just last week."

"Hell yeah just text me the address and i will be there"

Alex still haven't reached home. Should i wait for him? Hell no he is not my dad. I don't want to be one of those girls who ask permission from their man before doing anything. Did i just call Alex my man?

I bought a mini dress some time ago. But haven't gotten the courage to wear it maybe i should wear it tonight. I just got finish getting ready when Alex walked in my room.

"Going somewhere?"

"Yes"

"Yo are Not wearing this dress go and change it"

"No Alex"

"Amara don't push my limits and change this dress. I don't want strangers looking at you like this"

"And care to explain what do i look like?"

"Like a slut" He just did not say that. I slap him on the face and go out of the room. He can't call me names and expect to get away with it. Thankfully i have already call a cab which is waiting for me.

I can hear Alex coming after me but i run and sat in the car. I can hear Alex shouting to stop the car but i ignore him.

I just want to have fun tonight. I will even get drunk. Let Alex sulk. I won't waste my life over him. I'll live my own life and wear whatever the f**k i want. If he got a problem he can just leave me alone.

I reach the nightclub. Where is Ben? Oh there is. I run to him and hug him.

"Nice to meet you stranger"

"Ben you know the boss."

"I understand"

"You look really pretty"

"Thank you" I reply blushing. I'm 22 and still doesn't know how to respond to a compliment without blushing .

We start dancing. He get me shots. After sometime, i feel dizzy. I only have one drink so why do i feel dizzy unless someone has spiked my drink I look at Ben and he is

smirking.

Cloud is setting over my eyes. My vision is getting hazier and hazier I took out of my phone but i can't see the screen clearly. Alex has put himself on the speed dial on my phone. I try to press it I don't know if i did it right or not i pass out.

Ben is taking me somewhere holding my arms.

"Why are you doing this I thought you were my friend ?"

"Don't worry you are going to enjoy it"

"Leave me please don't do this to me " Saying that i black out.

i wake up to screams. It sounds like someone is getting punched. Someone touch me i tried to pull away.

"Baby it's me" I calm down recognizing Alex's voice. I start crying. Why did he do this to me? I thought he was my best friend. What could have happened if Alex didn't reach on time.

"Sh baby it's ok he can't hurt you anymore I'm here. I'm so sorry Amara" I'm crying with hiccups now.

Alex settle me in his car. We reach his house. He laid me down the bed and started rubbing my back. My tears still hasn't stopped.

"Baby don't cry your tears are hurting me" I sniffed but didn't reply.

"Amara please don't cry I'm here noone is going to hurt you" he said kissing the top of my head.
