Chapter 92

I hope you know what youre talking about Sun. I was beginning to sweat as he did not let go of my hand. 

“Are you sure that you wanted to ride this? There are a lot of pretty rides here.” I said, nervously. 

“Yes. I like to go with this one.” Sun said happily.

“Are you really sure about this?” I asked again. I tried to stay calm, but Miko suddenly popped out, slowly behind me. I can see him trying to hold his laughter. He knows that I have a fear of this kind of thing, and to be honest, this is also one of the reasons why we never attempted to visit an amusement park. 

“Yes, Ray. It really looks fascinating!” Sun said. 

“Now, Ray. Give Sun  what he wants.” Miko teased me. As if there is something that I can do. I don’t want them to discover that I hate this kind of thing. Also, for the sake of Sun’s happiness, I have to endure it.” I sighed and followed Sun. 

“You can do it, Ray!” Miko shouted, laughing. 

I’m going to smack his head once I go down here. There are a lot of things that were raising my nervousness, first, safety. Next is the height of the ride, and of course, the people around me. I wanted to run away, but I cannot do that. The kids greeted me on my way, and there was actually a long line of people who wanted to ride the roller coaster. Most of them were in their teens. 

I was starting to feel the cold sweat dripping from my forehead. Sun did not notice because he was so focused on riding this thing. I need to calm down now. I checked on everyone and they are really happy, maybe I can do it too.

The operator greeted me when we arrived at the foot of the roller coaster and gave us instructions on what we needed to do. The staff also gave us safety gear, and I am pretty amazed that they have this on their park. My heart was beating really fast because of the nervousness I am feeling now. It was really nerve wracking for me even though the ride hadn't started yet. 

The staff announced more safety precautions and told us that the ride will start in two minutes. I looked at the people who rode the coaster and they looked excited. Sun was also brimming with joy. 

“Are you excited, Ray?” Sun asked, flashing his bright smile. 

“Y-yes, I am very excited.” I said, forcing a smile. I actually wanted to run away now. 

The signal started to ring and slowly, the coaster moved slowly. All of the people who rode the coaster started to scream, while on the other hand, I was slowly melting in my seat. I don’t know, but my sweat was getting colder. Sun was shouting happily. 

The coaster was peaceful for a couple of minutes and then slowly, I could feel the shift on the track. I tried not to look down but my curiosity was at its peak again. We were meters high from the ground, making me nauseous just by the sight only. 

The coaster stopped and before I knew it, it was going at a fast speed. Everyone screamed happily, and Sun never showed any fear. Me, on the other hand, was about to leave the earth. I closed my eyes so hard that I could feel my soul leaving my body. 

The screams continued for a couple of minutes, and I did not dare to open my eyes. It became silent and I just felt someone was poking me. I looked at the person who was trying to hold his laughter. Sun was trying his best not to laugh, but I am really in my worst state. 

“You look so pale and broken!” Sun said, covering his mouth. When did he become like this?
