Chapter 93

The screams continued for a couple of minutes, and I did not dare to open my eyes. It became silent and I just felt someone was poking me. I looked at the person who was trying to hold his laughter. Sun was trying his best not to laugh, but I am really in my worst state.  “You look so pale and broken!” Sun said, covering his mouth. When did he become like this? I can’t move an inch because my legs felt so wobbly after the ride. I can’t really handle those types of rides, and the fear of heights really took over on me. For the sake of making people happy, I tried to toughen up.  “Miko, help. Look at Ray!” Sun shouted. Miko rushed towards where I was and I can hear him laughing.  “What am I going to do with you, my friend. For the sake of others, you became like this.” He said and laughed.  I groaned and tried to look at him. “I’m going to smack your head hard if I feel better later.”  “Do it now, silly.” He laughed harder. I saw the confused expression of Sun.  “Are you going to help me or not?” I said.  “Okay, okay. I will help you, young prince.” Miko said laughing, helping me to stand up slowly.  Miko and Sun helped me stand up from the chair, and after that we went to the bench near the coaster. Lena appeared carrying medicine and also water to help me feel better. After a couple of minutes, I regained my color again.  “You should have told me earlier that you are not good with riding a coaster.” Sun said, “That’s right, you should scold him Sun.” Miko answered.  “Well, I wanted to try it out and check if I still have the fear of heights.” I lied. “Still, you should have told me so I would have chosen any other rides here. Also, I would have taken Lena and Miko instead. “No, that’s fine, Sun. Next time, I will tell you if I am not good with this kind of thing.” I said.  “Okay, fine. Now, I guess we should eat?” Sun suggested.  “Sure, why not.” Miko butted in all of a sudden.  “When it really comes to food, you can’t hold back.” I said, laughing. Everyone laughed after hearing what I said.  “It’s better than riding a coaster. Now, let’s go.”  The people around us greeted me as usual as we made our way to the food stalls. There were a lot of kids that were happily eating and it made my heart feel good. Seeing kids happy like this was so comforting, and I wanted them to keep their smiles as they grow up.  A little girl approached me and handed something from her back. It was a cup of cookies, and she was smiling while giving it to me. I slowly knelt down so that I can match her height, and I smiled.  “Is this for me?” I asked.  “Yes.” The young girl said and nodded.
