Chapter 134

“Promise that you will meet and play with me again.” The young boy said and hurriedly left. The scene kept on repeating several times, and it began to glitch. The voice that he was hearing became distorted. The park became so dark, like in the horror movies and everyone’s faces were covered with a mask. All I could do was to run away from the scene.  I kept on running, but there was no end on the road. I was already losing hope, if I can still get away from here. My body was already running out of fuel from this everlasting dream. Then a spark of light appeared in front of me. It was dancing around as it was giving instructions to follow it, and which I did. The light became bigger and bigger, and everything was so bright, and I couldn't see anything. All I could hear was a voice that was calling me. “Ray, wake up. Hey, wake up now or I will smack your head.” The voice said.  I slowly opened my eyes and Miko was about to hit my head, and as soon as he saw me open my eyes, he hid his hands behind him.  “You did not see anything, right?” Miko said, smiling. “Do you want me to hit you instead?” I said, laughing at Miko. I looked at my watch and it was already six in the morning. Still, there were no changes from what happened a couple of days ago. We were not able to go back to the farm as we wanted since Sun is still  not waking up.  I looked at the bed , but there were no traces of someone who was lying in the bed. All that was left there was the bed, the dextrose, and the crumpled bed sheets.  “It’s the time of the day again.” Miko said,  “Yes, you are right. Please tell everyone again that no one should enter this room without my permission. Also, please ask Lena as well. I don’t know if she could handle the truth if she found out already.” I said, as I stood up from the chair.  “No worries, besides Lena understands that Sun still needs to recover from what happened. All that bothers me is when he will wake up.” Miko said, and placed the documents that I need to sign for that day.  “Well, we don’t know. Thank you Miko, for doing all this. You were really a life saver, especially the other day.”
