Chapter 101

“Now, since it’s settled. I’ll go now.” Sun said, calling some of the staff to accompany him to open the gate at the Water Lagoon ride.

It was starting to drizzle and the wind was getting chilly as we were standing there in standby. Everyone was looking up at the direction of Marga.

What I can do now is pray that both of them will be safe. The staff and some of the caretakers took shelter already. Some of us stayed to make sure that Sun and Marga would be safe. Miko went back to us carrying an umbrella. The first aid team was also on standby to make sure things would go smoothly. Of course, we hope the two will be okay.

Sun was slowly climbing up the slide as Marga continued to play. She kept on waving at us like nothing was happening. We can’t really blame the kid because ipt was our responspibility to look after them since we are taking care of them.

“Marga.” I heard Sun shouting, but her attention is still not with us.

This is one of the problems since the caretaker mentioned that she is hearing impaired. We need to be really careful that she doesn’t misunderstand.

The weather was not cooperating with us and was starting to rage already. Sun was still moving slowly towards Marga, so that she wouldn't startle her. Everyone screamed in panic when Marga slowly walked to the inflatable and was trying to ride it. Due to her height, she was not able to go in step. He noticed Sun and waved at him. She began to move her hands, and I was confused about what she was doing.

“Sign language?”

Sun stopped at his tracks and moved her hands too, as if he was mimicking Marga. Marga, in response, smiled brightly. How did Sun do that? When did he learn sign language? Sun continued to weave his hand as he slowly approached. Marga. on the other hand, did not notice what Sun was planning.

The gust was starting to feel bad and the rain was getting stronger. I suddenly remembered the time I was next to the mountainside at the farm. I don't want something bad to happen to them.

Sun finally approached Marga who kept on smiling. Everybody felt relieved when Sun reached out for her hand. I was happy, but my gut feeling is still telling me something that it is still not safe.
