Chapter 59

My friend is right. We need to find out everything that we can and help Sun before everyone discovers what he really is. I looked at Sun laughing together with Lena, and somehow, the sound of his laughter calmed my heart.

The two kept on talking as if they were friends for a very long time already. Miko and I joined the conversation.

“I am really sorry about earlier, Sun. I hope we can be friends, can you also be my brother?” Lena said.

The three of us were shocked by what Lena said, and I can feel that Sun was panicking. He kept looking around us, eyeing me as if he was asking what to respond. I just nodded my head and smiled at him, telling that it’s okay whatever he says.

Sun looked back at Lena and flashed one of his sweetest smiles. “Of course, Lena.”

Lena clapped her hands like a seal in excitement. Her eyes twinkled because of Sun’s response.

“Thank you so much, big brother Sun. By the way, you and Sir Ray looked good together.” Lena said and waved goodbye to us. She dashed towards the door, leaving us questioning what she said.

For a second, I felt good about what she said. Sun and I looked and smiled at each other, not breaking our gazes.

“Ehem, I’m still here.” Miko said.

I almost jumped out and had a heart attack because of Miko. I felt like I was warped at a different time because of Sun’s gaze. Miko laughed at us, seeing our reactions and headed to the couch. Sun headed to my bed as well to sit down, and I was left standing.

“About what happened earlier Ray, I am really sorry if I got caught. I forgot that I was already manifesting a physical body. That's why Lena saw me.” Sun said, looking at us.

“It’s okay, Sun. Sooner or later, other people might find out about you.” Miko said

“Miko is right, Sun. Who knows when it will happen. The only thing that we need to do now is be very careful about everything. Since most of the workers here saw you, we need to act normal. We will devise what you are going to say if they keep on asking you things.” I said.

“Feels like some sort of a scene from a fantasy movie.” Miko laughed.

“Thank you so much guys. I really panicked earlier and didn’t know what to do.”

“It’s okay. If I were you, I would have just stood there, doing nothing.” I said, to comfort Ray.

The three of us kept on talking about what we are going to do about the situation. We came up with a lot of crazy thoughts, thinking of excuses to tell people.

“I guess it’s the safest to say that you were a really close friend and just taking a vacation here.” Miko said.

“Miko is right. Also, you need to be with us all the time. Of course, since you appear at night only, joining us to have dinner will be okay.” I said.

“Thank you guys. I don’t know what I will do without you two.”
