Chapter 61

“Don’t worry. We will make sure you enjoy travelling. By the way guys, we need to head out and eat. The people might be confused if we don’t go back to the kitchen.” Miko suggested.

"You should go with us, Sun.” I said.

“Can I?” He looked at us with his cute puppy eyes. Again, this is really in contrast with the Sun I was with during that incident with Lena.

“Of course, you can go with us. People will think it’s weird if a guest like you will not go with us.” Miko said.

“Thank you so much, guys.” Sun said, flashing his sweetest smile again.

We reached the kitchen in no time, and we were surprised by what we saw. Earlier, it was not like this, they just prepared simple meals. This time, it felt like a feast. How did they manage to do this in a short time?

“What happened? What’s the occasion?” I asked.

“We wanted to prepare something special for our guests, that’s why we did this. Lena asked us if we could prepare something good for your friend.” Cynthia said, smiling. This was different from her reaction earlier outside my room. Well, I should not bother about it. Maybe they were just shocked seeing a stranger.

Lena appeared carrying some fresh fruits from our storage.

“Big brother Sun, come on. Let’s eat.” Lena said. Sun looked at me, as if he was asking permission. I nodded my head and smiled in response. He slowly walked towards Lena and the two began talking.

Miko and I sat down as well, and everyone began to eat. They started throwing questions at Sun, but luckily Miko was quick witted, answering some of the questions. Like what we have talked about in the room, we were told that Sun is our company’s web developer. We also told them that Sun usually works at night and sleeps during the day. I hope everyone will believe what we said.

Everyone keeps on asking Sun with random questions, but he did not feel uncomfortable or anything. He answered most of the questions smoothly. I can see that he enjoys talking with people, and with his case, it’s understable because before he can’t do it.

“It’s nice that your friend is happy being here.” Austin said. I was surprised when he suddenly appeared out of nowhere.

“Yes, and I think he loves it. Sun is like a shut in, because of the nature of his work, but he likes being with other people’s company. Simple things like this make him happy.”

“I see. I’m glad that he likes it here. It’s really rare for young people like you guys to enjoy simple things like this.” Austin said.

“I did not even imagine that I would be managing this farm personally. Out of all the businesses that I have now, this is the place I am most comfortable with. It feels like this place was calling me.” I said.

“I see. Honestly, ever since you came here Sir, the place became more cheerful. Most of our employees were happy being here with you.”

“I’m glad that you accepted me here.” I said, and smiled. I looked at the people happily chatting in the kitchen. It made my heart feel warm.

“We are also happy that you were here. By the way, Sun really looks familiar.”

I paused after hearing what Austin said.

“What do you mean?”
