Chapter 62

“I’m glad that you accepted me here.” I said, and smiled. I looked at the people happily chatting in the kitchen. It made my heart feel warm. “We are also happy that you were here. By the way, Sun really looks familiar.” I paused after hearing what Austin said. “What do you mean?” I asked, looking at him eagerly. Austin might know something that can help us figure out the mystery behind Sun. Austin, on the other hand, was nervous or some after I asked. “Well, you see Sir. Sun feels familiar, it felt like I met him already. I cannot remember when, but I can feel this familiarity.” Austin said, and looked at Sun who was busy chatting with the other workers. “I see. Maybe it’s because Sun was a warm person?” I said. “What do you mean, Sir?” “The first time that I saw him, I mean the first time that he worked for me, there is some sort of energy that pulled us towards him. At first, I was hesitant about being acquainted with him, but as time passed by, we began to be close. Same case with Miko. We have the tendency to be careful dealing with people because of our family background, but in Sun’s case, it was really different. I know it might sound silly, but just like his name, he is really a warm person.” I said. Austin stayed silent for a moment. He looked again at the bunch of people happily chatting with Sun. “I guess you were right, Sir. Just looking at everyone today, their mood brightened up just talking with your friend.” Austin said, smiling. Everyone continued eating and talking for a while. I decided to go out and look at them from the outside. They were really having fun, and it was really nice to look at. My phone suddenly rang, and another unknown number was calling me. I picked it up without hesitation thinking it was a client. “Hello, may I know who’s on the other line, please?” I asked. “Finally, Ray you picked up. I was trying to reach you for the hundredth time, but I cannot get through. I know that hearing me on the other line is not what you wanted, but please listen.” My sister said. I tensed up after hearing her voice, but I guess she will keep on bothering me if I did not hear her out. My sister Rosalia is persistent and will keep on doing things until she get what she wanted. “What is it?” “I heard that you are going back to the city, so can we please meet up?” Rosalia said. “Why bother meeting up, you can just tell me right now.” I said. I know I will sound indifferent, but after all those things they did to me, I can never forget that. “No, I want to meet you personally, Ray.” “For what? What are you up to this time, Rosalia?” I said, getting more tense, gritting my teeth to calm down. “Ray, just this once, okay. Let’s talk personally.” She said. This was the first time that she talked to me like this, asking for a favor. I don’t know what to say. I really don’t know what my sister is up to this time. I stayed silent for a couple of minutes, thinking of what to say. I saw Sun going out of the kitchen. “Okay, just this once. Send me the address where you want to meet up.” I said. “Thank you, Ray… I hung up on the call and put it back in my pocket. I know I acted rude, but I cannot really stand it anymore. I just stood there, trying to calm down. “You okay, Ray?”
