“Lena, call Miko and we will go back to the hotel and tell him to handle everything there.”
“Yes, Sir Ray.”
We are running out of time. All I could do at that time was to wish that there would be no more complications.
The rain was getting heavier as we were on our way to Nica's house. She would suggest bringing Sun to his place, but it will reveal his identity. So, instead we will pick her up. I took another clean piece of towel, adding it on the others which was soaked with rainwater and blood.
"Are we still far?" I asked our driver..
"We are almost there, Sir." He answered.
"Thank goodness."
After a minute, we arrived at the area where Nica lived. She was already waiting outside as it continued to rain. We stopped in front of her and she hurried into the car.
"Oh my goodness, what's happening Ray?" She asked, seeing us in the situation that we are in.
"Uh, we got into some sort of accident. Please help him." I said,
"You look like a mess, and who is this young man?" She said as she started to get her materials from her bag.
"This is my friend, Sun. Well, to keep the story short, while saving a kid, he ended up like this." I said,
"I see, I see. What a heroic act. Now, just keep on pressing on the wound for now." She said, and started filling the syringe with medicine. After rubbing the cotton with alcohol, she injected the medicine. She moved with care, while I continued pressing on the wound.
She started to check the vital signs of Sun, and her eyebrows raised. She just looked at me and tried to give her a signal. She noticed and just nodded her head, continuing her work. Finally, we arrived at the hotel and some of my staff were already waiting. Luckily, we have a stretcher in standby that we get for emergency usage. We carried Sun back to the room, and I told Lena to rest already. She wanted to stay, but I told her to take care of herself or I will get angry.
Nica and I were the one who was left in the room and she was looking at me with a lot of things to ask.
"Now, care to explain?"
