“What was that?” Ray opened the door again but no one was there. His heartbeat was getting faster and faster. The silence with the surroundings adds up with the tension that he is feeling now. He slowly entered the room and looked around. Ray was sure that he locked up the room before he left so it is impossible for someone to enter. He also did not remember that there was a duplicate key. Ray picked up his phone and called Miko.  “Please pick up, Miko.” The phone kept ringing but his friend did not answer. He almost threw his phone because of annoyance. He has no choice but to go inside the room. Ray is not afraid of this kind of thing, but what if it’s a theft? Ray slowly opened the door but there was no one in there. He felt relieved as there was no one in his room. He hurriedly checked the windows if it’s locked. He went to the restroom and the closet to check if someone was hiding. There was no one there, making him calm. There is a last place that he needs to check, and it was under his bed.  Ray slowly lowered his body and checked underneath his bed. He flashed his phone to check but there was no one. He felt relieved and hurriedly stood up. Ray was about to turn around when felt that someone was behind his back. He slowly looked behind him and saw a man standing, smiling widely. It was the same man he saw at the Mango orchard. The man was really pale, and a cold aura was surrounding the man. The man looked like he was floating as he approached Ray.  “Hello!” The man waved and smiled at him.  He was sweating so hard because of what he is seeing right now. The man slowly approached as he backed out. Ray felt shivers and ran to the door.  Bang! A loud thud was heard in his room. Ray held his head because of the pain. He looked back and the man was still there, approaching.  “Go away! Go away!” Ray shouted out of fear.  The man was still there, looking at him. The man stopped on his tracks as Ray was trembling in fear.  “I said stop where you are!” Ray shouted again. He was really frightened of what he was seeing. Ray thought that he needed to do something to get away from the man. An idea popped into his mind. Ray gathered his courage and stood up.  “Who are you and what are you doing here in my room?” Ray said, trembling in fear.  The man did not answer but instead, moved an inch closer to him.  “Oh, not so fast. Just stay there!” Ray said, pointing his finger at the man. The man just smiled at him. Ray felt that the person was mocking him. He had no choice but to execute his plan.  Ray tightened his fist and dashed towards the person in front of him. He planned to tackle the person and get away from the room.  Bang! “What happened?” Ray said and scratched his head. He was pretty sure that he aimed at the man standing in front of him, but nothing happened. It felt like he passed through the thin air. He looked up and the man was still standing there.  Ray tackled the man again, but it was the same. He passed through the thin air and fell on his bed. He began to feel the shivers coming down his spine. It happened twice, and he cannot hit the man. He looked at the person and it was just smiling at him.  “Ahhhh!” Ray screamed out of fear and ran out of his room as fast as he could. He forgot that he was on the second floor of the house and skipped steps on the stairs.  Crash! A loud sound was heard all over the house, alarming everyone. Ray cried in pain and all that he could remember was the face of the man he saw inside his room.  ---- “Ray, wake up.” Miko said, shaking his friend gently. Ray opened his eyes and looked around. He was back in his room, and Miko was there. He noticed that he was lying on his bed and felt a sharp pain from his left arm. All he could remember was the man he saw in his room. He looked around, but it was not there.  “What happened?” Ray asked.  “You stupid old man. You are asking what happened. The helpers heard screaming loudly and they found you lying on the floor. You passed out.” Miko said.  “What?” Ray said and checked the cast on his left arm. He did not expect that he would get an injury because of that incident. “You have everyone worried. We are lucky that the town doctor was near this place. Austin picked him up and brought him over here. As for your injury, don’t worry. It will heal soon. Now, care to tell me what happened?” Miko asked again. Ray has no choice but to tell the truth to his friend.  “Uhh, about that, I guess the rumors from the workers are real.” Ray said.  Miko just looked at him and began to laugh.  “Hahaha. Are you serious?” Miko asked, laughing. “Do you want me to smack you on the head?” Ray warned Miko. As soon as Miko heard that, he stopped.  “Okay fine. I’ll stop. So where did you see the ghost?” Ray asked again.  “In my room. At first, I thought it was a thief. I tried to tackle the person in my room, but I didn't even hit it once. The air also in my room, it’s weird. I freaking had goosebumps that time, that's why I ran away.” “I don’t know what to say. You keep on teasing me that I am afraid of such things, but now you are the one who got hurt. About that, maybe we can ask Austin or the other personnel here so that we can clear things up.” Miko suggested.  “Okay, let’s do that, but business comes first, okay?” Ray said and looked outside the window.
