Chapter 71

Unlike the hotels with extravagant features, I decided to make it simple and minimal. At the same time, I want everyone who visits the place to feel like it’s their home.

“What do you think?” I asked Sun.

“It’s really pretty.” Sun smiled.

The staff greeted us as we continued towards our suites. I asked them to set our rooms as near as possible, and have little guests on that floor so that we can protect Sun’s secrets. The rooms were located on the right wing, and near the hanging gardens so when they are waiting for us, they will not get bored.

“Here we are.” I said, pointing out to the rooms.

“Are you sure that I can stay in an expensive suite like this? Judging from the price, staying here will cost us two harvests from the mangoes.” Lena said.

I laughed after hearing Lena’s reaction. “Silly Lena, it’s okay. I want you to enjoy your stay here and feel comfortable. Don’t think about the price, and it’s far from what you said. It’s actually lower than that.”

“Just go to your room Lena so that you can rest.” Miko said, laughing. Sun and I chimed in as well.

“Okay, so Lena will stay in the room opposite to Miko while Sun and I will go to the room at the end of the hall.” I said.

“Sun will stay in your room? I thought you got him a room for himself?” Lena said.

“No, since most of our agenda for staying here in the city has something to do with Sun's job.”

“I understand.” Lena smiled.

“Now, you should go to your rooms now.” I said. After the staff carried our luggage, Lena and Miko entered their rooms. Sun and I did the same thing as well.

I sat on the bed, while on the other hand, Sun stayed on the sofa near the fireplace. He was looking at the flames, admiring it.

“Thank you Ray.” Sun said.

“For what?” I asked, surprised by what he said. Why is he thanking me now?

“For everything. For letting me experience all of this. I am really thankful, and I won’t regret it if I will pass to the other side already.” Sun said.

“You’re welcome. I should be the one thanking you for what you did for me so far too. My stay on the farm was better when you were around.” I said, lying down on the bed. The warm atmosphere of the room was so calming, making me drowsy already.

“You really did a lot of things for me already. I am really thankful….

Those were the things that I heard before I dozed off.

It was already eight in the morning when I woke up. As usual, Sun is not around again at this time of the day. My phone suddenly rang and checked who was calling. It was Austin.

“Is there something wrong?” I asked after picking up the phone.

“Sir, we have an emergency.” Austin said.
