After All that Growth

Here I am sitting in a luxurious coffee shop waiting on the person thats always late but like to point fingers the few times you show late. "Are you ready to order" the waitress asked, "No am not, just a few more minutes my bestfriend will be here soon" she walked away. I picked my phone up with allot of rage dialed her number and asked where she was, given the feed back of her tone I could tell she was unhappy. " I am right outside, where inside are you?", she asked "I am on the left third seat to the back" I answered. She came in looking as sad as a baby missing their mom and dad, "What's wrong T?" I asked, " He did it again Rey, he went to some hotel with a blonde hair trash" she said furiously. "Are you talking about your boyfriend, because if you are God bless his cheating, disgusting, good for nothing, two face shriveled *ss" I lashed out. " it's not Dajaun Rey, it's dad" she said, I was startled "this was the third time Mr Turner had done this and the only person to find out was Tina, how she does it I have no idea but the first time he told her it was just a misunderstanding and it would never repeat itself. Second time, well he blamed the devil for it and now this I wonder who he is gonna blame this time" I started thinking. I sat across from her, told her to get in my seat and I hugged her "T I honestly think it's time to tell your mom, you have been keeping all your dads secrets ever since the first caught and if you ask me he has no intention of changing it", I said " it's just too much for you and it hurts me to see you crying like this it's enough". She pulled away from me wiping her tears then she answered "How can I tell mom, You and I know that mom would just get rational and do alot without thinking and where does that leave me". Unbelievable I thought to myself Is she really worried about the wealth right at this very moment, I started to gaze on her with both arms cross " Here I am being worried about your health and well-being while you are worrying about the money you won't have" I exclaimed. " It's not like that, but what's a person to do when they are born in it and end up losing it", I sighed, because I wouldn't know anything about that I wasn't born in it even tho at times I really wish I did. "Are you ready to order now that your friend is here" the waitress asked again, "Sure, anything to lighten the mood" I said "I would like to have a green tea please along with one of the special you have today", " I would like to order a cup of coffee extra cream and pancakes extra syrup" T added. Suddenly the door to the coffee shop swung opened, A man perfectly dressed in a Navy tux walked in. "Let me have one of the special today along with a cup of coffee no cream please, just sugar", He ordered. " HOLY! HELL!" T screamed pulling on my arm, " Do you know who that is?" I answered saying "No, is he important?" she frowned and look at me "How can you not know who that is, He is Joshua Dunkley one of the city's eligible bachelor; 24 years old has his own company which was pass down through hereditary". "Just wow" I said " lucky him, the only thing am gonna be eligible for is beating your *ss in this coffee shop, so I am here trying to comfort you and you were never this excited and suddenly some dressed like a I'm running for president walked in and you got all excited and happy", she started laughing " girl if some guy in tux doesn't get you heated and all excited there is something seriously up with you I think you need to get laid", I smiled " give me a break, he is definitely not my type and I most definitely don't have all that sort of energy to waste". Immediately the waitress returned but have some how mixed up the orders, she gave me coffee without cream, after asking for the cream she got confused and said " Oh no, I gave you the wrong coffee is it okay if I change it because if you got the coffee without cream that means, Oh no no no" , "relax" I said " It's okay I will just go and change it". " No" she said " It's not your work and it was my mistake" I smiled at her saying " we all make mistakes, and it's okay I will change it just attend to others it shouldn't be that hard". As I was approaching the table where he was sitting he yelled, " No, No not today am in no mood for autographs, can't a person just have some coffee in peace without being bothered. I stopped then answered savagely " Don't you dear raise your voice at me, I came over here to get my coffee the waitress mistakenly gave to you not so you can write your name on the cup or on the back of my shirt, the world doesn't move according to your name" I put his coffee down took mine up and went back to my seat. Looking surprised and confused, Joshua approached our table and extend his apology " I am truly sorry, I have had a really rough start this morning that should not be an excuse for whatever just happened". I hissed saying "I am pretty sure when you woke up my face didn't greet you, your apology I don't need you can be on your way" then Tina stand up extend her hand and said " I apologize for my friends behavior, she is not always like this, My name is Tina and I have read about you in countless magazines you are so inspirational" Joshua extended his hand and said calmly " Am Joshua and nice to meet you Tina, I would love for you to apologize to your friend for me considering that am trying and she won't give a listening ears, you two have a lovely day " he turned and walked out with his coffee. "Was all that necessary" I asked " You were practically all over him as if his name was Dajaun", she chuckled " was your outburst necessary, he only thought you were a fan and as for your question you can never put your eggs in one basket, which is why you are a ticking time bomb my bestfriend from the looks of things your eggs haven't been in a basket for months". I laughed " Let's just finish up here so we can go Ms basket hand out".
