The roof top was secured by the police officers that attended, and with them came Sapphire, wrapped in a runner’s blanket. Shivering by the stairwell, she spoke with an officer, recounting the story. Every so often she would look up and catch Felicity's eye and they'd share a smile. To hell with Taylor. The past wasn't worth holding onto. She and Thomas stayed nose to nose until the medic tended to his wound. Strapped onto a stretcher she giggled as he blew her kisses, and a little wink before three men carried him back down the stairwell.
