Chapter 16 - A Lesson

It was exactly nine in the evening when we started to play the game. Caroline insisted to be the first one, then Henry, then Nicolas, Ethan, and me. Those were our turns and so, we made a circle based on that and put all of the things that we will be needing in the middle. I can't help but feel so nervous because of the fact that not only I am playing a truth or dare game, but I am also besides this man, who I am so conscious.

"Alright. I will start now." Caroline stated which brought my attention to her. I saw her tap her phone and the word truth or dare flashed onto the screen alternately and just before we know it, it stopped on the word truth, then she tapped her screen once again and a message flashed on the screen.

"Have you ever peed on the shower?" She said out loud the message and she laughed hard after that.

"Duh. Of course, who didn't, right?" She asked while looking at us but we immediately averted our gazes from her.

"Oh! Come on. Is it just me?" She asked in disbelief but it seems that there is no one that would like to answer it. Even I do not want to admit it even if she is my friend.

"It's your question. Don't ask us your question to us. Next." Henry said now and pulled her phone towards him then tapped it.

"Truth." He said so happily when it flashed onto the screen.

"What is a secret that you have never told anyone?" He now said out loud and he became silent as he began to ponder.

"I hate my family." He said seriously which made us quiet.

I don't want to blame him because he confidently said that one secret that he is hiding but it's as if the atmosphere around us began to feel heavy. No one dared to talk and it lasted for a minute or so.

"Well. Who doesn't? I don't like mine either except for my sister." Nicolas responded which made everyone look at him including me. He was smiling at me already when I looked in his direction. But, later on, it faded away as he pulled the phone towards him, acting like he didn't say anything to us.

"My turn." He said excitedly and pressed the screen.

"Dare!" He said surprised and then immediately tapped the screen to see what he will do and right then... he froze.

"What is it?" I asked curiously as I tried to peek onto the phone but he immediately snatched it and hid it from his behind.

"I... I think..."

He was unable to finish what he was saying anymore because Ethan snatched the phone from his hand and looked at the screen. I was stunned when I heard him laugh although it was briefly.

"Go on. Do it! You can just drink if you don't want to." Ethan said as he flashed the screen towards us.

"Twerk for a minute?" Caroline asked dumbfounded and suddenly laughed out loud.

"GO ON!" Caroline shouted excitedly but it looks like my brother won't be doing it.

"If you're going to drink the brandy... You cannot take anything besides that." I said which made his eyes widen by surprise.

"Are you serious? Do you even know how strong this is?" He asked but I simply shook my head.

"No excuses," I said, grinning like a devil and that is when he had no choice hut choose only one that will save him from this hell.

"I will... drink." He said and drank all of the brandy in one go, putting it on the floor the moment he finished it all. He looked so funny after that and I can't help but laugh at him.

"Next!" He angrily said and right then, Ethan tapped the screen on the phone and a word appeared.

"Dare." He said quietly and once again tapped the phone.

"Who would you like to kiss in this room?" He said and my heart skipped a beat when he glanced in my direction.

The two beside me were already squealing but my brother was looking at him so fiercely as if he was going to devour him.

Yet... I thought that he would answer the question.

I guess I was wrong since he immediately picked up the glass and waited for my brother to pour some on his. My brother was shocked by his response too but he just let it go and poured some brandy into the glass.

Afterward, he drank it in one go and then leaned onto the wall.

"I thought you were going to answer it," Nicolas said looking at the man as he pushed the phone towards me.

"Your turn." He said shifting his gaze towards mine and so, I carefully picked up the phone and tapped it.

"Dare," I said in return and tapped the screen again for the message to appear.

Yet, I froze to see what it was.

"Eat a banana seductively in front of the person on your left," I said out loud but froze when I finally get a grasp of what it meant. Everyone was waiting if I will do it but there is no way that I will do that, especially to Ethan!

I reached for the glass quickly since it already has brandy and drank it all up.

Wow... the moment I got to finish it.

My head was turning so much to the point that I closed my eyes eagerly to clear my vision and it somehow helped... a little.

"Alright! Let us continue," Henry said and reached for the phone to give it to Caroline.

"I think I will be retiring soon," Ethan said all of a sudden enough to make everyone look at him.

"Are you alright?" Nicolas asked laughing and he just nodded in return.

"Brandy just hits different." He replied as he left us and went to the room without anyone stopping him from doing so.

"Let's add some thrill! Let's turn off the lights and play again." Caroline said and turned off the lights.

After that, we played once again and lasted until midnight but as the hours continued to pass, I kept on having dares so, as result, I kept on drinking brandy and I feel like fainting already. My hands are already numb and my head felt like it was about to explode.

"Oh! I forgot that we have a jacuzzi!" Caroline suddenly said drunk and Nicolas laughed at her.

"Let's go. Let's try it out before we all go to sleep." He said excitedly and looked a bit drunk also.

"I'm fine... bleurgh... I... think I'm going to sleep now... burgh." I said having a hard time talking already and Nicolas went to me.

"Are you alright?" He asked trying to caress my back and I nodded in return.

"You can go have fun," I replied.

"Are you going to be fine?" He asked worried and I nodded in return.

"I will just wash my face then, lie down and sleep this," I answered as I stood up carefully and headed towards the bathroom.

"You can all go on now," I said as I got inside and started to wash my face but it doesn't wash away my drunkenness.

I decided to go outside now and saw that they were already gone. They were all outside laughing so, I just decided to head into the room and take asleep.

The moment I opened the door of my room, I hurriedly went to the bed and covered myself with a blanket because the air condition was blowing too cold. My head was spinning already and I feel like it was splitting into two because of the coldness of this room. I tried to find the remote to fix the temperature but I can't find where it is. That is when I just decided to close my eyes and hope that the moment I open them, my head won't be aching anymore.

Yet, hours had passed... I felt something on my body... a hand squeezing my breasts and a hand that was on my gem.

"Hnggghh..."

What is this?

"Shhhh. They might hear you." The man said behind me which made me look at him and was stunned to see Ethan in my room.

"What are you doing in our room?" I asked still a bit dizzy but he simply chuckled in return.

"You were in the wrong room. You were the one who crawled in here knowing that a man is sleeping here and drunk at that. I could easily devour you but... I won't go far from this. I just... I wasn't able to control myself and touched you without your knowledge. I apologize for that." He said sitting up from the bed.

"Why?" I asked which made him frown.

"Why are you asking me why? Shouldn't you be grateful that a man like me won't dare to touch you?" He asked in disbelief but it made me sit up and looked at him straight in the eye.

"You can touch me," I said confidently and take off my shirt, revealing the two-piece bikini that I chose for him but froze when he was looking at me so deadly.

"You don't know what you are doing, Nat. Put it on." He said giving me back my shirt but I didn't listen and decided to push him but then he pushed me back. Making me lie down on the bed while he was on top of me.

"I already know that you are stubborn but... you are making me lose my patience, Nat." He said as he suddenly removed his glasses.

"Let's teach you a lesson." He said smirking which made me swallow hard.

I don't know what has gotten into me but... all I know right now is that my instinct is telling me to just go and the next thing I know is that I was in heaven.
