I pouted at the clothes Elisa had taken out of her closet and laid out on the bed. "Come on, stop sulking!" she reproached me. I was sitting in her study chair, spinning around in circles. "You told me we were going to hang out at home, and it would be fun. What's with the party and all?" I wanted to stomp my feet and whine like a little kid. I didn't want to go to a party. I hated parties and nightclubs, and there was no reason to change my mind. I was also confused and depressed. I was going to let Elisa drag me away and sit in a corner and wait for the night to end.
