Chapter 22I went down through the kitchen and got myself a cup of coffee. Then I looked into the cookie jar. Sure enough, there were pecan chocolate chip cookies there. I put one in my mouth, another two onto a saucer and I was ready.
I went up to my room and looked at the two boxes and the suitcases sitting there.
