Chapter 24Jules and Vivienne were standing out on the back deck looking at the scenery behind the house. From there you could see the backs of the houses a block away and the foliage that had gone dormant to prepare for winter. I opened the Family room door and led my grandfather outside. It was still chilly, but the cold breeze had died down. They turned toward us as we approached.
