“Do you think he'll ever f**k you like this?” he wraps my legs around his waist, f*****g me against the wall, nibbling on my neck while I writhed against him. “Do you think he'll ever touch you like this, look at you like this, like you are the only thing he needs to survive.”

LANA Today, I wasn’t just going for a wedding getaway trip. I was also going to win back the heart of the man I loved, Jude Sinclair, the Alpha of our pack. I stared back at my reflection in the mirror, gently fixing the strands of my hair that had fallen out of place. “You look so good, future Luna. I'm sure Alpha Jude would trip over you the moment he sees you,” my maid said from behind me. I took a deep breath to steady myself as her words of compliment, which were supposed to make my stomach flutter, only made my heart sink. Was she right? Would Jude really trip over when he saw me? He seemed to have been out of love with me recently, or maybe I was just being paranoid. We were already engaged and set to be married soon, but he had suddenly stopped treating me like he always did at the beginning of our relationship. Recently, he seemed not to care about me or even our upcoming wedding. Whenever I asked to meet to talk about the wedding plans, he brought up excuses about being busy. He stopped calling and texting like he always did before our engagement. Even when I reached out first, his replies were cold, delayed, or didn't come at all. Jude was never like this towards me, and I swear it scared the hell out of me. It felt like I was losing the only man I had loved all my life. I was an omega, and getting mated to the Alpha of Blue Crest Pack was a lifetime opportunity, a dream come true for me. Omegas were never mated to the higher ranks in the pack. Even if the Moon Goddess made such mistakes, we were always rejected. But I was lucky to be chosen by Jude, and I didn't turn him down when he asked me out. Whispers floated in the pack about our relationship. People said he was just deceiving me. Others said I shouldn't keep my hope high that I was just a plaything to the Alpha. However, everything changed when he proposed to me. “Thank you so much, Mia,” I plastered on a smile, smoothing my long dress. “You are welcome, future Luna,” She bowed her head slightly as she smiled. I sighed. “I should head out now. I'm sure Jude would be on his way here already.” “Future Luna, he is not,” Mia protested, stopping me in my tracks. I raised an eyebrow in confusion. What was she talking about? “What are you saying, Mia? Jude promised to come pick me up this morning by 9. This is 9:15…” “He sent a message, future Luna,” Mia interrupted my words. My heart pounded heavily in my chest as I drew in my lower lip, hoping that whatever thoughts were racing through my head weren't true. “What was the message, Mia? And why am I just hearing this?” My tone dropped low, barely above a whisper. “I'm sorry, future Luna. The message was sent just fifteen minutes ago. He said Beta Simeon would fly with you to Paris and he would meet you there later in the day.” My heart dropped to the pit of my stomach. What the hell? What kind of fiancé asked his fiancée to fly with another man for their own wedding getaway trip? This wasn’t the promise Jude made to me last night. Even if there was something he needed to attend to, he should have reached out to me earlier, not just sent a message at the last minute. My chest tightened painfully, and my wolf whimpered within me, feeling disrespected. Even if I was just an omega, I was going to be his Luna and deserved to be respected, not humiliated this way. Both our families would be in Paris, what was I supposed to say to my family when they asked for him? That he was busy and would join me later? What if he didn't show up? What if this was one of Jude's ways to tell me that it was over? I shook my head, pushing the thoughts to the back of my mind. Jude would never do that to me. As if on cue, Beta Simeon's presence was announced, and I grabbed my handbag, keeping my expression neutral. The last thing I wanted was for anyone to suspect what had just happened. *** The moment the plane landed in Paris, a wave of dread washed over me as the thoughts of Jude flooded my mind. Beta Simeon had already booked a ride that would take us to the hotel. “You look like you are nervous, Luna,” He teased, flashing me a smug grin like he always did. I exhaled sharply through my nose, unable to hide my displeasure anymore, especially from Simeon. He was my close friend before my relationship with Jude started. “Do you think he will come?” I asked as we walked towards the ride. He raised an eyebrow. “Lana, don't tell me that's what you've been worried about.” Of course, it was. Any she-wolf in my shoes right now would be worried. “Alpha Jude loves you. You should stop being worried, Lana,” He said, fixing his gaze on the back of one of the humans who had passed by us. I shook my head. “Really, Simeon? She's a human! Haven't you had enough of the she-wolves?” I teased him, and we both burst out laughing. “My wolf is never satisfied,” he smirked. My breath caught in my throat when we arrived at the hotel Jude had booked a few weeks ago. It was luxurious and far above my expectations. Goddess! The building looked like a palace with beautiful balconies, large windows, and gold decorations. The air smelled like fresh roses from the flower vases placed around the lobby. Even my wolf purred weakly in my mind. The receptionist handed me the key to our suite. mine with Jude. Simeon had informed me that Jude had booked the whole hotel building for the wedding getaway since our families would also be coming over. Only my two cousins from the pack would be coming over because they were the only family I had. “I will catch up with you later, Lana,” Simeon said as he received the key to his room, too. I didn't miss how his eyes lingered too much on the receptionist's cleavage. Goddess! Simeon was a real pain in the ass and I hope that he met his mate soon so he could get a hold of his damn d**k. “Hum,” I rolled my eyes at him and made my way to the suite. I was still marvelling at the spacious and beautiful hallway when I started hearing strange moans from a room that was opposite my supposed suite. My eyes narrowed at the room door, but I immediately cautioned myself from doing anything stupid. That room could be one of Jude's family’s and it would be so rude to barge in on whoever was there when they were having a good time. I swiped the card to the suite and was about to step in when I heard a familiar voice and immediately stopped in my tracks. My eyes widened slightly, my heart racing wildly in my chest as I looked back at the door earlier. Swallowing the sudden lump that had formed in my throat, I took slow steps towards the door, curious. “Harder, Alpha,” The soft tone of whoever was getting f****d in the room filled the air. Alpha? My heartbeat spiked up. There was just one Alpha in the Blue Crest Pack and every member of Jude's family was from our pack. My heart rose and fell in panic as I tried to push out whatever thoughts were running through my head at the moment. The door was slightly open, which made it easier for me to peek through. My breath caught, my brain froze as my eyes landed on who was standing behind one of the pack she-wolves, f*****g her from behind. Jude Sinclair! My supposed mate and fiancée! He was here at our wedding getaway f*****g someone else like his life depended on it. My heart felt like it had been thrown into a mortar, pounded heavily until nothing remained. Tears gushed down my cheeks heavily and it felt like my life had crumbled right before my eyes. I didn't know what to do at that moment, but nothing could compare to the sheer agony coursing through my veins. The pain was suffocating, almost unbearable. My vision blurred and I held the doorknob gently for support while Jude and his plaything were still oblivious to my presence. Suddenly a strange scent filled my nose, wrapping around me. It smelt like pine and wood, suffocating me. It wasn't Jude's scent because he never smelled like pine and wood. The scent wasn't familiar; it wasn't one of our pack members' scents. My wolf suddenly growled in my head, and my heart stopped beating. “Mate!”
