Our Shattered Marriage

We were like two pieces of a puzzle, fitting perfectly and bonded strongly. Until a wave crashed upon our perfect life and we slowly drifted apart. We had promised each other a happily-ever-after and for a time, we were both happier than we'd ever been. But we all know what they say—nothing lasts forever. I thought our love would be enough to overcome whatever came our way. I thought we had such a strong connection, nobody could break past our barrier of trust and our glistening wall of love. But something did. My husband distanced himself from me. And now it's upon me to figure out what happened and then hopefully be strong enough to fix it. That is, if I don't break first.
