ALLISON'S POV
I glanced up at Alpha Alex. His calm yet intense gaze settled on me in a way that sent a shiver down my spine. His eyes were so dark, so piercing, like he could see right through me. I tried to stay focused, but the way he looked at me made my thoughts scatter. I couldn’t help but wonder why he’d chosen me for something so… dangerous.
“Alpha Alex,” I began “Why me? I mean, out of everyone you could have asked, why would you want me to… well, catch a predator?”
He took a step closer. The air around us grew thick with tension as he moved closer to me.
“Because you’re beautiful, Allison,” he said softly. His eyes lingered in a way that left my skin tingling. “Extremely attractive. If anyone can catch this guy, it's you. He won't be able to resist you,”
