I Was Lost

Chapter 6

After a while, I decided to end my day so, I bid my goodbyes to the couple. I went towards my parked car. I was about to open the car's door when a tap at my shoulder startled me. Agad akong lumingon, nag-aabang ng maaring mangyari. Yet, a handsome man towering over me is what I found.

"Jin." Anong ginagawa nito dito. I looked at his back, looking for, maybe, someone who could be with him. But, I found none.

"Ah... May kailangan ka?" I looked at him while asking that question while my hand is opening the door. If possible, I don't want to spend too much time with him. But, my question remained unanswered. Nakatingin lang siya sakin. He seems like in a daze or something.

I cleared my throat. " Kung... ahm... mauuna na ako?" I said then I went in the car immediately. As soon as I went inside, I opened the ignition and closed the door but it's somewhat stuck.

I looked at it only to find him holding my car's door.

" May kailangan ka?" He still didn't speak. Damn it! If you've got nothing to say, let me go!

" Aalis na ako." I attempted to shut it one more time, to no avail.

"Ano bang kailangan mo?" Tumaas na ang boses ko. Bakit ba ayaw niya akong paalisin? Di ba ayaw mo sakin?

Kumunot ang noo niya. Maybe because of the tone in my voice when I said that. Sino bang hindi maiinis sa ginagawa niya.

"What do you mean by that?" At long last. He spoke. But what does he mean? Yung tinanong ko?

" Ah.. it means what it means? Now, what do you need?" Bilisan mo. Kating-kati na akong umalis. I'm tired. Now, because of you, I'm more than exhausted.

"Not that, yung sinabi mo sa simbahan." Oh. So, that's what he means. I just shook my head and shifted my gaze at the wheel.

"I'm going." I said and with all my strength, tried to close the damn door, yet like what happened earlier, failed.

"We're not done talking." And with that he pulled me out of my car. My car. Wait, why am I outside of my car, and where are we headed?

"What the—bitiwan mo ako!" I struggled to get free but it seems like I'm wasting my strength for nothing. Still, I'm not gonna let this man do what he pleases. So, I stepped on his foot.

"s**t" Sorry, bye-bye. Then, I ran. Or more like attempted to run.

"You think you can get away from me that easily?" His breath fanning my ear.

He's now holding my arm while his other hands on my waist. Heart, stay still.

My eyes held his. The eye that I love the most. The eye that held power yet with gentleness.

"Why do you always love to leave me?" Bumalik ako sa katinuan nang sinabi niya iyon. Ako, nang-iwan kailan? It was him who shut me out!

I used my remaining strength and freed myself from his hold.

"Now, listen here Mr. I never, I repeat never—" In a sudden move, I am now inside a car. Inside his car to be precise.

Damn. Before I could get out, he already shut the door. And for someone's sake! It's locked.

"Palabasin mo ako" I said with gritted teeth as soon as he arrived at his seat.

He just looked at me seriously and drove the car to wherever damn place we're going.
