DL 22: His Secret

Everyone are screaming in pain because of Nelson's spell. He is really powerful. He can control all sorcerers with his magic except me because of my moon necklace.

"You're gonna pay for this Zion," Vince said furiously.

"Hhahaha... I know why you are not affected by our spells!" June said while laughing.

It's not good... Masyado silang marami. Kahit na makapangyarihan na ako, puro Saints naman ang mga kalaban ko ngayon.

I can't afford to lose in this battle...

"Z-Zion... Please, fight for us..."

I look at Sandra and she is just lying on the ground. I saw tears falling from her eyes.

I balled my hands into fists as I closed my eyes.

If I lose in this battle, they will kill all of us. I know that our guild leader is dealing with their queen. I am the only sorcerer from Kreterra who can fight them.

I opened my eyes and I released golden rings from my hands.

"Angel's halo!"

Tumilapon sila palayo sa akin at 'yung iba naman ay nakaiwas. Sumugod na si Vince at Aki papunta sa akin.

I released a silver magic circle from my left hand and I released my holy weapon...

"Rosary whip!"

Pumulupot sa leeg ni Aki ang sandata ko at hinatak ko siya kaya tumalsik siya papunta kay Vince.

"It's my turn!"

I look around and I saw June who is running towards me. I cracked my Rosary whip on her neck and I snapped my finger.

The beads of my weapon are exploding one by one until it reach the cross on its end. June screamed in pain because the beads exploded on her neck.

"You're tough!"

I look around and Nelson is just standing. He is just looking at me furiously.

I cracked my whip on his neck but he caught it using his hand.

"You're weapon won't work on me!" He shouted.

I snapped my finger and the beads of my weapon started exploding one by one until it reach his hand.

Eventually, he is not affected by my spell. Hinatak niya ng malakas ang latigo ko at bigla na lang nagkaputol-putol ang mga beads nito.

This guy is extremely strong. I think he's quite dangerous.

I fly quickly in the sky with the use of my angel wings and I am just looking at them.

I pointed my hands on their direction and I released a huge silver magic circle.

"Holy flare!"

A massive silver magic blast was released from my hands. Sumabog ang paligid dahil sa lakas ng kapangyarihan ko.

Everything was covered in a silver light. Medyo nasilaw din ako sa sarili 'kong kapangyarihan. This is one of my great spells.

After a few minutes, I saw trees that are burning in a silver flame. Some sorcerers from Ruvekha are also burning in a silver flame.

I heard someone laughing at the ground.

Nagulat ako nang makita ko sila. Nakatayo pa rin ang mga malalakas na sorcerers sa Ruvekha. They are all laughing at me.

"That's cool Zion!" June said.

"Yeah! You're too strong!" Ivy said.

What happened? I released a massive silver energy! Bakit hindi sila naapektuhan?

"Tick-tock..."

I look at Aki and he is just laughing at me so hard. I hate this kid...

"I stopped the time around us before you completed you spell," he said while smiling.

What should I do? My power was depleted because of the spell that I did. It requires a huge amount of magic power.

"Hey Zion! You look exhausted," Nelson said.

"Yeah, and it looks like your magic power was depleted already. Can you still fight us?" Vince asked.

What should I do? I'm not gonna win if I don't have enough magic energy.

I felt something on my chest. I look at my moon necklace and I notice that it is glowing in a silver light. What's happening to this amulet?

I hold it using my right hand and I feel so much power from it. I smiled and then I closed my eyes.

I am absorbing the magic energy from my moon necklace.

"Zion is glowing in a silver light. What's happening? I thought his magic power was already depleted?" I heard Aki asked.

"It's not good! Look at his moon necklace! He is recharging magic power from it!" June said.

I opened my eyes and I am completely powerful again. I regained my magic energy in just a minute.

"Ready to fight again?" I asked while smirking.

"There's two way to beat Zion," June said.

Everyone are looking at her. I know that she is knowledgeable with my necklace because she is a former healer like Vile.

"Get that amulet from Zion's neck or kill the healer who gave him that!" She shouted.

They all smirked because of what she said...

Helga and Vince are running away. It looks like they are going to find Vile. I laughed because of what they are doing.

They are both idiot...

"Why are you laughing?" Nelson asked furiously.

"You can't find the healer who gave this necklace to me. Wala na siya dito at kasama siya si Lola Veron. Kaya niyo bang labanan si Lola Veron?"

Helga and Vince stopped from running away. Seriously, Lola Veron is really powerful. She's more powerful than our guild leader.

Her power is almost like a deity but she's not a demigod. Sa kanya nagmula ang makapangyarihang bloodline ng sorcerers.

"Well, we should get that amulet from your neck!"

Helga sky rocketed on my direction using her blue fire. Malapit na siya sa akin kaya sinakal ko bigla ang leeg niya. She tried to burn my hand using her blue fire but it's not working.

I send her back to the ground and I heard her scream.

Someone fired a green blast on me so I dodged it quickly. They are really serious about this.

After a few seconds, I felt weakness...

What's this? I felt that half of my magic power took away from me...

I heard someone laughing so I turn around. Nanlaki ang mga mata ko dahil nakita ko si Nelson na lumilipad.

He is holding my moon necklace! Paano niya 'yun nakuha nang hindi ko namamalayan?

"Now! You can't win against us!" He said while laughing.

He put my moon necklace inside his pocket. He is just smirking at me...

He snapped his fingers and I felt weakness. My wings and armor vanished and I started falling.

I felt pain when I hit the ground. It's so hard for me to move. I think he is using his spell against me. His dark spell is working now.

"Pinahirapan mo kami kaya papahirapan ka rin namin!"

Pinalilibutan na nila ako. Nakahandusay lang ako sa sahig at hindi ako makatayo.

I look at them and the raised their hands in the air. They released multiple colors of dark energy from their hands and it reached me.

I scream so hard because I can feel like my skin is burning or peeling off! I never experienced this pain before.

Napaluha na ako dahil sa sakit. I should still fight but I can't. Alam 'kong talo na ako.

Hindi ko na kayang lumaban...

Nagtatawanan lang sila habang sumisigaw ako dahil sa sobrang sakit. Every sorcerer from Kreterra is lying on the ground.

I saw Sandra who is crying while looking at me. Everyone looks powerless.

"We're gonna kill all of you!" Nelson said while laughing.

I'm just crying... I shouldn't die. If I die, Vile will also die. Everyone will die in their hands.

Vile POV

I'm here at the province. Sinalubong kaagad ako ng mga healer na kasama ko dati bago ako maging member ng Kreterra.

"Hi Vile! We miss you so much!"

They hugged me tightly. I smiled because of them.

"I also miss all of you," I said sincerely.

"Hayaan niyo muna na makapag-pahinga si Vile at malayo pa ang pinanggalingan namin," sabi ni Lola Veron.

We walk to our house here in province. This is a safe place for us. No one will notice that we are a group of healers.

This island is protected by multiple spells made by the Lola Veron and she's a great sorcerer.

I really miss reading some books inside Lola Veron's house. Her books are all about healing spells.

I get one book from the upper side of her library. This book looks ancient. Hindi ko pa talaga nababasa lahat ng mga libro dito.

I opened the pages of the book and it looks like this book is about forbidden spells of healers.

"Hmmm... Lola Veron, I don't know that healers like us have forbidden spells," I said.

She looks in shock and she moved quickly to get the book away from me. She scanned the book that I'm reading.

"V-Vile... You shouldn't learn any forbidden spell from this book, ok?"

"Huh? But the first page of that book is all about welding a moon necklace and I did it already. What's wrong Lola Veron?" I asked politely.

She sigh...

"June used this book to become a dark sorcerer..."

I'm shocked because of what she said. I think that book is quite dangerous.

She tap my shoulder and...

"You're the best student that I have. I don't want you to fall into dark magic," she said seriously.

I smiled at her...

"But I don't want to fall into dark magic. I just want to become stronger to help our guild," I said politely.

She looke around and she whispered on me...

"Do you want to learn the highest form of healing spell?"

"Of course! I want to learn more!" I said cheerfully.

She sigh...

"Well then... Follow me..."

We walk away from her house and we transformed into birds.

After a few minutes, we landed in the other part of this island. There's no one here except us.

"Vile, I'm gonna teach you the highest form of healing spell but it is also the highest form of forbidden spell of healers..."

Huh? If it's quite dangerous, then it's really a great spell...

"You can have the power like a deity..."

"Huh? What do you mean by that, Lola Veron?" I asked in shock.

"You can revive someone from death!"

Tumayo tuloy ang mga balahibo ko dahil sa sinabi niya. I never heard something about this.

Ngayon ko lang nalaman na may ganito pala na spell ang healers na kagaya ko.

Well, everyone are thinking that all of us are harmless and weak because of our kind nature. We are usually calm.

Healers do not usually fight but we should still defend oursleves or the people that we love.

"A-Are you serious? Is it really possible?" I asked nervously.

She nodded...

"We are capable of doing that but the value is our own life..."

Ok, I got it. With a great spell comes a great cost.

"Pwede mong buhayin ang kahit na sinong nilalang na gustuhin mo pero ikaw ang papalit sa kamatayan niya," seryoso niyang sabi.

I smiled at her...

"I want to learn it. It's pretty cool!" I said cheerfully.

In case of emergency, I can use this spell to protect him.

"Well, it looks like you're not afraid about its cost," she said disappointedly.

She sigh again...

"This spell is called... Onyx Aegis,"

Onyx Aegis? Ngayon ko nga lang 'to narinig. Onyx means black or dark and Aegis means age.

"Listen well, Vile. I'm gonna teach you this spell but you should only use it for something that is really important. For our guild," she said seriously.

I nodded and I smiled at her...

"Now concentrate, Vile! Focus on the life form that you will revive. Concentrate and feel the soul inside your body..."

I closed my eyes and I can feel all the vibrations all over this island...

I can feel a massive magic power. It is a very powerful healing magic. I can feel my soul inside my body.

"Ok, that's quite amazing. You're learning it already," she said.

I opened my eyes and my body is glowing in a golden light...

I can feel much power from my body...

"Now, create a force field in front of you."

I raise my hands in the air and a large golden magic circle appeared on the ground. The golden force field is starting to form.

This magic is really awesome. Tumatayo ang mga balahibo ko.

"Ok... Stop it. That spell is really dangerous," she said.

I looked at her and I stopped casting this spell.

"Just memorize the verbal spell inside this book and you can master it."

I nodded...

Bigla na lang akong nakaramdam ng kakaiba. Para 'bang nanghina ako bigla. My magic energy is draining.

Alam ko ang ganitong klase ng pakiramdam...

After a second, I feel like someone stab my chest!

"Hey! What's happening to you?" She asked anxiously.

I know this feeling...

Nakahawak lang ako sa dibdib ko habang namimilipit sa sakit.

Para 'bang sinaksak ako sa dibdib...

"He needs me..." I whispered.

"What did you say?" Lola Veron asked.

"It's a warning. Zion is in great a danger. I can feel it because of the moon necklace."

I transformed quickly into dove...

"Hey! Where are you going?"

"I will go back to the guild. He really need my help!"

I fly quickly in the air...

I should help them! If Zion is in danger, then all of them are also in danger.

I can't afford to lose my friends! I will do everything that I can to help them.

I'm so stupid because I left them! Dapat nanatili pa rin ako sa guild kahit na hinayaan ako ni Zion na umalis.

They need a healer; they need me...

I don't care if a healer will die in a war as long as I can help them to survive.

Their lives are more important than mine...
