Sa pagmamaktol ko, nakarinig ako ng tunog ng gitara at napatingin ako sa isang bahagi sa labas ng hotel kung saan napapalibutan ito ng halaman at nakita ko ang isang babaeng nakatalikod sa gawi ko. Sitting alone on a dark side of the garden as she strum her guitar.

Curiosity ran down my spine as I walked where the sound was echoing.

Nang makalapit ako, kumanta ang babae.

I was about to approach her when someone barged in and talked to the lady as she stopped strumming her guitar.

"There you are, I was looking for you." saad ng lalaking kararating lamang at kinausap ang babaeng kumakanta kanina.

Nanatili lang ako sa lugar na malapit sa entance ng hotel kung saan ko nakita ang babae at pinapakinggan lamang ang kanilang usapan. I am not the kind of person who eavesdrop for other people's business but I am curious for the girl and her songs.

"Mom and Dad were looking for you Ashleigh. It's about time to introduce you to them as the heir of the Montenegro Empire."

Kumunot ang noo ko sa sinabi ng lalaking sa tingin ko ay kaedad ko lamang. Hindi ko kasi gaanong maaninag ang kanilang mukha dahil nasa madilim silang parte ng garden.

"They don't have to introduce me to the world you are already living in Reiden Grei Montenegro. I am contented in my world using my music and songs."

Wala sa sariling napatango ako sa sinabi ng babae dahil pareho kami ng pananaw sa buhay. Music is my escape and my comfort zone. At pinaka-ayoko sa lahat ay 'yung pinapakialaman ang gusto ko.

Nakarinig ako ng yabag ng mga taong naglalakad at sa tingin ko ay umalis na sila, kaya naman nagpasya akong bumalik na lamang sa venue. Pagkapasok ko ng function hall ay agad kong hinanap kung na saan si Mommy at Daddy. Mabuti na lang at agad ko silang nakita kaya naman umupo ako sa isang bakanteng silya na nasa tabi ni Mommy, kasama sa isang mesa ang ibang business man na nandito sa party.

"Where have you been son?" usisa sa akin ni Mommy nang makaupo ako.

"Roaming around the area 'cause I'm bored, Mom." paliwanag ko rito. Pero naagawa ang atensyon naming lahat nang magsalita si Mr. Montenegro.

"Ladies and gentlemen, thank you for coming here as we celebrate the founding anniversary of Montenegro Empire. As you all know, I already gave up my position to my older son, Reiden Grei as the young and new CEO of the empire and as you can see, at a young age, he already achieved multiple big offers and has been close because of his hard work. And also, I wanted you all to know and please recognize, our princess and our only daughter. Please let me present you my pride and joy, Ernaline Ashleigh Montenegro."

Umalingawngaw ang malakas na palakpakan at lahat kami ay napatayo para bigyan ng respeto ang anak ni Mr. Montenegro.

Pero ganun na lamang ang pagkamangha ko nang umakyat ang isang babae na sa tingin ko ay mas bata sa akin ng dalawang taon. She's wearing a silver gown and she looks like an angel who got down from heaven to fulfill a mission.

"Oh my god, she's beautiful." reaksyon nang Mommy ko habang nakatingin sa anak ni Mr. Montenegro.

Hindi nga maikakaila ang ganda nang babaeng nasa harapan namin ngayon katabi ang Ama nito na nasa mini stage at tila hiyang-hiya habang binabati ito ng mga bisita na tulad namin.

I think I fell in love at first sight because of her beauty.

As the years go by, my Dad decided to let me rule our business as he retires as the CEO. Nang makuha ko ang posisyon na 'yun bilang CEO, doon ako nagsimulang gumawa ng hakbang para mapalapit kay Ernaline Ashleigh and have her as my girlfriend if God given me a chance but it was difficult to talk to her when her brother didn't gave me a permission to approach her.

Reiden Grei Montenegro is a man with a powerful aura as if he's the King of his empire. He's the one who visited my office and asked me what I wanted from his sister. "I just wanted to talk to her, Reiden Grei," I said without any respect for my words.

The time that Reiden Grei declined my offer as his business partner, I didn't respect him as a successful businessman because I believed in myself that I could surpass him.

"Let me warn you, Mr. Ocampo," he said. "Don't use my little sister for your gain just to be part of the Montenegro Empire. I don't care about your business proposal as long as I don't feel any bad intentions coming from you as you intended to talk with my sister. Don't try my patience, Mr. Ocampo."

I thought I could surpass whatever he achieved when a certain person came into my life - her name is Katelyn Sandoval who owns an entertainment called K.S Entertainment and our band signed a contract under their supervision.

Napabayaan ko ang family business namin and I blamed Reiden Grei Montenegro about it. He would pay everything for ruining my life and not let me approach her little sister so I decided to kidnap her and made a deal with her.

"Are you f*****g out of your mind?" sigaw sa akin ni Katelyn nang sabihin ko dito na pumayag makipag-deal sa akin si Ernaline na kung hindi ako nito pakakasalan, may gagawin akong masama sa kanyang kapatid.

Katelyn invited me to her condo and we talked about what we should do to the Montenegro siblings. Call me psycho or something but all I want is Ernaline Ashleigh!

Hindi ko alam na si Reiden Grei pala ang kahinaan ng isang Ernaline Ashleigh na ngayon ay bahagi na rin ng bandang BlackHand na isa sa mga kinaiinisan kong grupo sa mundo ng musika dahil nasapawan nila ang kasikatan ng banda namin. And I hate seeing myself being beaten such a lowly class of species called human.

I looked at Katelyn's face as if she was frustrated with what I was planning right now.

"Come on Katelyn, I know you have a crush on that f*****g Montenegro. Do your own thing and I can do my own business too. Seduce him if you like and I will make sure that Ashleigh will be mine, forever."

Umangat ang kilay nito sa akin at tumayo mula sa kinauupuang silya bago lumapit sa akin at umupo sa kandungan ko.
