Chapter Twenty-Two
Jade arrived at the stadium early. Perrie was just on time. Soon, the game started and the two women stood at their designated meeting places, getting antsy. Jade contemplated texting Jesy to ask if she’d set her up with a ghost. Perrie did text Jesy, but never got a response. Frustrated, Perrie decided that she wasn’t going to give up her free ticket to the game, so she headed to her seat. She would enjoy the game, even if her date had stood her up. She was just about to reach her seat, after stopping for a hot dog, when she knocked into a frustrated looking brunette. Then she saw her eyes. The woman had angry brown eyes that caused Perrie to step back, not wanting to cause any problems. Unfortunately, stepping back from the angry woman, resulting in her backing into another woman. Jad
