"Then maybe see you in 6 years?"
I don't know why but suddenly, I felt those butterflies in my stomach again. My face is burning red now, I assume.
"Saan mo naman nakuha 'yang banat na 'yan?"
"I didn't get it from anywhere... I'm serious," he retorted back.
Napailing-iling ako sa kalokohan niya. "Adrian taught you how to sugar coat things and make a girl flutter, didn't he?"
"Oh... so were you fluttered, then?"
I raised my eyebrow at him. "Hindi. Asa ka."
"Pero nag-blush?" pang-aasar niya pa. Umayos siya sa pagkakaupo bago tiningnan ako. Tiningnan ko rin siya at nilabanan ang titig niya. "But I was serious for real."
"Stop your jokes, Nathan. It's almost 2 AM already. Lasing ka na ba?" sarkastikong sabi ko, inaasar siya.
"No... Seryoso ako." We stared at each other after that.
