“Oh my god,” sabi ko nang makita ko ang mga mukha ng mga demonyong umaatake. Oh my, ang pangit. Hindi sila pareho ng size and appearance pero generally, pangit talaga sila. Some demons had one horn with one eye, yung iba anglalaki ng katawan tapos yung iba ang liliit. The soldiers are trying their best to fight pero ang dami talaga nila. I wonder if the boss is here somewhere.

“You think you can handle this?” tanong ni Kailani na nakangiti. Oh damn, don’t smile at me like that.

“Y-Yeah,” tipid kong sagot.

“It’s showtime,” he said and he just vanished.

The next thing I knew he was 3 meters away from me, playing with his flames. He attacked with a sword and the next time he attacked, it turned into spear. His weapon is made of flames and it keeps on changing depending on the situation. It’s dynamic. I’m sure he’ll be fine kaya napatingin ako sa paligid, medyo marami nga sila at hindi ko alam kung saan ako aattake. Every where I look, there are demons.

Cygnus.

My eyes widened when I heard someone call my name. Hindi ito galing sa labas, it came from my mind.

Fight, Cygnus.

I looked around at wala ngang tumawag sa akin. Pumasok muli ako sa tent at hinawakan ang ulo ko. This voice, I know who is this. This is my father’s voice.

I’ll lend you my power.

“No,” sagot ko kaagad. “I wanna fight on my own, dad,” I said and it was just a couple of seconds but I saw his soul right in front of me- smiling. “I can fight on my own, dad.” I rephrased.

His soul vanished and so is his voice. I clenched my fist and bit my lower lip. I will fight.

I can fight.

Lumabas muli ako sa tent at sinalubong ako ng dalawang maliliit na demonyo. It was like a slow motion, they were holding their weapons made of bones, most probably galing sa mga biktima nila. They were smiling with their tongues out. For a second, I was trembling but it vanished when I caught a glimpse of Kailani, holding his long sword and swaying it with fast leg movements. He’s dancing with his flames. I can do it too.

I took a side step and I grabbed the sword na mula sa patay na soldier. I used my other hand to land on the ground and raised my body upward to do a one-hand thumbling. I landed on the ground using my feet and took one step backward to prepare for my attack. My vines wrapped around the sword I’m holding and the white flower glowed purple.

“Aconite s***h,” I whispered and I took a long jump para salubungin ang dalawang demonyo mula sa gilid nila. I swayed my sword and they both split into half. Their bodies turned purple and the next thing I knew, their bodies rot. I landed back on the ground at itinusok ko ang sword na hawak ko. “So demons are not a fan to poisons huh,” I said at napatingin ako kay Kailani.

“Nice thumbling,” he said and he started attacking more demons around us.

I did the same thing as Kailani. Madali lang naman maybe because of our ranks. Although minsan sabay-sabay akong inaattake ng apat na demons, kinaya ko pa naman. My wines are really useful this time. Kailani and I took different ways para maubos kaagad ang kalaban. The night is long. Nagulat ako nang may narinig akong mga nagsisigawan. I ran towards that direction at napatigil ako. I thought it was humans, it was demons.

I am currently watching Gin jsut standing on the ground but the demons were screaming for pain and they eventually stopped when the all turned into stone. He just turned over 50 demons into stones by standing?! He snapped his fingers at sabay itong nawasak. Some of the stone fragments fell into me at napatitig lamang ako doon. I smiled nervously at napatitig sa kanya. This is the power of an S Class Spirit Caster. My attention was shifted when I heard clashings above me. Agad akong napatingin sa itaas, and my eyes widened.

It was Tempest. He was wearing a huge smile holding a death scythe. The scythe was so huge at may faint purple aroma ito. It smelled like poison. No, it is poison. He swayed his scythe as he was above me. He landed in front of me at nahulog ng demon na kalaban niya dito sa harapan ko. He was kind of taller than me kaya nakaangat talaga ang ulo ko habang tinititigan siya. He glanced at me with a blank expression.

“I think I went overboard,” he said.

“W-What do you mean overb-” putol kong sabi nang may narinig ako sa gilid ko. I glanced sideward at napaatras ako ng konti. This is the direction where he swayed his scythe. Guess what? The empty tents and ground were split into half for over 10 meters. Napalunok ako at napatitig lang doon. S Class Spirit Casters are really something else. They are our of my league. “Y-Yeah, you really went overboard,” sabi ko.

“Bakit nakatayo ka lang diyan, Cgnus? Go to the west,” biglang sabi ni Gin and his eyes were glowing at umiwas ako ng tingin sabay tango. Baka maging bato pa ako puta.

“Roger that,” I said and I jumped to the roof ng nag-iisang tower dito para makita ko ang buong pangyayari. I glanced at the east area, I saw Kailani playing with his flames. I glanced at the North, there I saw Argo and Lor, protecting the barricades and stopping the demons from coming in. They did not summon any spirits but they were just extending their hands at kusang mamatay ang mga demons. I heard explosions sa likoran ko and their I saw Kali and Nieve. Nieve has this long nails made of ice. He’s like wolverine. Si Kali naman, he was damn fast as he was holding a spear. He was teleporting on different directions kaya nagugulohan na ang mga kalaban. Some of the soldiers were also still fighting. I see that no one dares to give up.

I glanced at the west part at tanging mga soldiers lang ang nandoon. Guess that’s my area. I immediately used my vines to grabbed to one of the poles sa isa sa mga tent na nandoon. As soon as the vines held the pole, I grabbed it and forced myself to sway in that direction. Ah, attack on titan vibes. As soon as I arrived, hindi ako nag dalawang isip na umattake. I attacked fastly para makapaghinga ang mga soldiers kasi halatang sugatan sila. They were catching their breaths as soon as I finished slicing up those ugly demons. I let out thin vines with white flower to heal them.

I was about to flee away with them kasi wala ng demons dito kaso napatigil ako. Something’s coming. No, something is below us. My eyes widened when the gorund started cracking.

“Run,” I whispered to the soldiers. “Run and call for help!” I shouted at umalis silang tatlo. They hesitated pero kailangan ko talaga silang paalisin. Why?

The ground stopped cracking and a huge demon suddenly popped out in front of me. Mukhang ako yata ang nakabunot ng kamalasan.

I smiled nervously and made a stance to prepare for a defense.

“So you’re the boss,” I whispered.
