Nagdadalawang isip kaming pumasok kasi sabi nga ni Jill na may palabas. He’s not wrong actually kasi ramdam ko rin ang malakas na magic molecules. This is an S-Class Spirit Caster for sure. No doubt. Agad kaming lumapit sa waterfall and we heard loud footsteps na palabas nga- the fact that the footsteps are louder than the falling of waters is kind of dangerous already. Hindi man namin makita kung sino ang lumabas dahil nakaharang ang tubig pero nakahanda na kami sa kung ano man ang sasalubong sa amin.

Napatingin agad kami sa itaas nang may nakita kaming dalawang tao na tumalon. Masyadong mataas ang talon nila kaya hindi namin lubos nakita ang itsura nila. I tried to pinch my eyes to see clearly pero hindi talaga kaya. Ang alam ko lang, they are wearing their uniforms- our school’s uniform to be exact. 

“Gin?!!” Kali exclaimed at napatingin ako sa kanya. Gin? Like the Prince Gin?!! Napatingin ulit ako sa itaas but I was too late because they landed in front of us. Saktong-sakto na man biglang dumating si Edwardo.

“I’ve warned the authorities, Your Highness. Pagdating ko po doon, may lumabas na po na mga halimaw,” Edwardo said as he landed.

“Did anyone get hurt?” Gin suddenly asked. It’s really them- Gin and Tempest.

“U-Um,” Eduardo said and he looked confused nang makita sina Gin. Tumingin siya kay Aaron na nagbabakasakaling may mageexplain sa kanya kung bakit nandito sila. “N-No, Prof,” Eduardo added at napatingin muli kay Gin. Sa halip na marami akong tanong, agad nakuha ng attention ko ang hawak niya. My eyes widened at nagtinginan kami ni Kali.

“Is that… the scarlet stone?!” Nieve exclaimed and Gin glanced at the stone he was holding.

“Our mission is to get rid of goblins inside that cave. Hindi nga kami nakauwi ng tuloyan kasi may nagpadala ng letter sa amin through portal. It’s an emergency mission and we had to respond immediately. Ironically, the base of goblin’s is a dragon’s lair and we saw this stone. Kinuha ko na kasi naisip ko na baka ito ang hinahanap niyo.” Gin replied and he handed the stone to me. Kinuha ko kaagad ito habang napatingin pa rin ako sa kanya. “This is your mission, right?” he asked and I nodded.

“Teka lang, Gin,” singit ni Kailani at kinuha ang bato na hawak ko. “What do you mean goblins? What’s happening?!” he asked and Tempest sighed.

“Apparently, this scarlet stone,” Tempest said as he raised the stone na hawak ni Kailani, “is doing it all. For years, hindi naman violent ang mga goblins dito, they just became violent because of this stone. Alam naman natin na perpektong lugar ang kweba na mag cultivate dahil sa mga crystals na nasa loob. It’s been hundreds of years since this stone cultivated magic molecules from crystals at ang nagmamay-ari ng stone na ito ay ang tinatawag nilang Dragon of Destruction.” Tempest explained at ibinalik ang bato sa kamay ni Kailani. “Our mission was to stop those goblins from being controlled by the stone while your mission is to get this stone,” he added.

“Ibig sabihin ang mission natin ay connectado,” I said at tumango si Tempest. That's weird.

“It’s more like ginusto nilang magkakampi ulit tayo,” Gin said with a smirk. “The principal is watching you four after all. He believed that you four will be the key to get the title - All Star Mahika Tournament Champions,” he added.

“Woah, woah, teka lang,” Kali said at kinuha ang bato na hawak ni Kailani and a portal opened beside him. He calmly put the stone there at lumapit kay Gin. “All Star Mahika Tournament?! Eh may Mahika Tournament pa tayo sa buong Agartha- sigurado ba siyang mananalo tayo to represent our country?” Kali asked at biglang ngumiti si Tempest.

“You sound like you’re already a member huh, I like that,” Tempest said. Right, we’re one of the chosen ones pero hindi pa final. “Anyway, our school has been winning the finals for almost 5 years already kaya hindi pwedeng maputol iyon,” he added. “Most royalties go in our school, nakakahiya naman kapag natalo tayo sa mga …” putol niyang sabi at napatingin nina Aaron, Jill at Edwardo na halatang walang alam sa nangyayari. “tulad nila,” he added again at kumunot ang noo ko.

“Tempest, nakalimutan mo ata na taga rito rin ako,” depensa ko.

“Cygnus,” he called and it gave me chills. “Nakalimutan mo rin ata na isa ka sa amin,” he added with a smirk. “You’re a pure breed royalty after all,” he added and he held my shoulder. “You’re the Spirit Martial’s son, right?” he asked and my eyes widened. Bakit niya sinabi ang mga bagay na iyon?! Aaron and his team is here!

Agad akong napatingin sa kanila at wala na akong nasabi kasi nanlaki na ang mga mata nila habang nakatingin sa akin. I looked away and I sighed. Binatukan ni Gin si Tempest kaya napabitaw si Tempest sa akin.

“Let’s go, we have no time for this. Monsters are attacking remember?” Gin said.

“O-Opo, hindi po rin namin alam kung bakit bigla na lang sila lumbas sa forest. Hindi pa po iyon nangyari,” Edwardo responded.

“It’s because the goblins are attacking so normally, weak monsters tend to escape at wala silang choice kung hindi lumabas,” Tempest responded at tumango ako.

“Let’s go, we can’t wait until the island will be in chaos, right?” Gin asked at tumango kaming lahat. “Let’s just think we’re in one team again and these three as our apprentices,” he added and I frowned.

“I think nangyayari na iyan. They are actually with us to be our apprentices,” sagot ko and he chuckled.

“Well then, follow us, dear apprentices,” he said and nawala na lang siya bigla sa harapan namin. The next thing we knew, nandoon na siya sa malayo kasama si Tempest.

Hindi na kami nagdalawang isip na sumunod sa kanila. We are fast but they were damn faster. Aaron and the others are clearly having a hard time kasi habang tumatagal, lumalayo na ang agwat nila sa amin.

“Cygnus! Kailani!” Gin called at napatingin kami sa kanya. “Dumeritso kayo sa labas isama niyo ang isa sa kanila,” he added.

“I’ll come!” biglang sigaw ni Aaron and I saw Kailani’s expression changed. He’s annoyed.

“Good. You three, dumeritso kayo sa labas. We’ll handle things here. Go save the others.” Gin replied.

“Handle what exactly, Prof?” Aaron asked.

“Handle them,” he said at tumigil sila kaya tumigil kaming lahat. My eyes widened when I saw couple of goblins attacking the other animals- ang saklap pa dito, everytime they attack parang masasapian sila kaya mas dumarami na ang kampon ng mga goblin.

“I did not expect this to happen. I can’t believe a single crazy stone blew the island,” sabi naman ni Tempest.

“I’ll hold them off for a couple of minutes, go!” Nieve shouted and arrows started shooting at the goblins and other monsters. They all froze at nagtinginan kami ni Kailani.

“Let’s go. Don’t fall back,” Kailani said and he glanced at Aaron. “Aaron,” he emphasized.

We hurriedly jumped pero malayo pa kami so I wonder kung ano pang maabotan namin doon. I can’t watch another corpse again. Ngayon na nasa maraming tao na sila umaatake, natatakot ako na baka pagdating namin doon, maraming tao na ang patay. I cannot let that happen and I don’t wanna see it happen.

“Kailani,” I called.

“I know,” he said.

Kailani unleashed his wings and I summoned my vines at kinulupot ko sa bewang niya. I grabbed Aaron’s waist using my other vine na ikinagulat niya.

“Hold on tight,” I said with a smirk. “We’re taking a shooooort and fast flight,” I added at hindi pa siya nakapagsalita- agad na lumipad palayo si Kailani. It felt like the first time kasi sobrang bilis, parang nawawalan na ako ng pandinig.

It took us a couple of minute to finally arrive. The moment we arrived bumitaw na ako kay Kailani and my eyes widened how many monsters were there. Ang dami! They were attacking the people but thankfully, the authorities responded kaya may pumipigil sa kanila but most of them are injured already. Even our previous classmates and profs are here. We did not land yet kaya kita ko ang buong paligid. The kids are crying, the women are trembling. I hate this sight. How dare these monsters destroy my hometown!

Binitawan ko si Kali at naghiwalay kami ni Kailani. I hurriedly stepped into the scorpion’s body which my old adviser was fighting with. I bended my knees as I landed to increase the pressure and luckily, the moment I landed- the scorpion’s body crushed. I glanced in front and met with my adviser’s eyes. Dahil sa gulat niya, he was not able to move at hindi niya napansin na may isang scorpion pa sa likoran. I was about to grab him kaso biglang lumitaw si Kailani sa likoran niya at tinadyakan ang tail ng scorpion. Agad siyang napalingon at naabutan niya si Kailani na nakatayo sa sirang tail. He looked surprised at napatingin ulit siya sa akin. I stood up and I smiled.

Ah I’ve been wanting to say this to look cool but I didn’t expect that I’d get to say it now.

“We’ll take things from here, sir,” I said at napatingin ako kay Aaron na halatang nagugulohan sa nangyayari. “Aaron, get the people out from here! We’ll handle everything!” I shouted at agad naman siyang tumango at nagsialisan na ang mga authorities kasi ang dami na nilang sugat.

Me and Kailani went away from those dead scorpions at hinarap ang mga natitirang halimaw. Scorpions. Bears. Spiders. Snakes and a huge turtle na kinakatakutan ng lahat. Everyone was staring at the turtle as if wala ng pag-asa.

“Any orders?” I asked and he smiled.

“Just have fun,” utos niya at tumalon na siya papunta sa mga halimaw. Agad niyang pinuntahan ang ahas na may dalawang ulo at napangiti ako. Hindi ko alam kung paano pero tumalon lang siya- the next thing happened? The snake's eyes burned. After that, he landed on the fox who was flaming because it had flame magic but ironically, he bursted out his body with flames at nilamon ng apoy niya ang apoy ng fox at nasunog ito. It had flame magic but it died with flames, what a pity. I can't help but smile as I watch him fight. Have fun huh? Fine then.

Napansin ko na may malaking spider na tumatakbo papunta sa mga tumatakas na tao, I also my mom there- which made me act so quickly. I ran towards that spider and I summoned six vines. I grabbed each of its leg at natumba siya. The people shouted at napatingin sa akin kasi ako ang nagpatumba sa malaking spider na iyon. Too bad I don’t have any weapon.

I was about to attack kaso napatigil ako. Something behind me is coming- I don’t know what but it came from the forest. The next thing I knew, I saw two swords papunta sa akin at agad ko itong nasalo. The crowd gasped dahil sa gulat- well, pati ako nagulat. I looked at the swords and my eyes widened. What the hell?!

“T-T-T-That’s P-Prince Nieve’s …” hindi matapos na sabi ni Aaron habang turo ang hawak ko.

You never failed to impress me , Nieve. How the hell did you send these swords this far?
