"Akala ko ba itatago mo iyon?" Kali asked habang nasa loob kami ng class room namin. Dahil nandito ang lahat ng participants sa loob ng school, hindi natuloy ang class because our professors were assigned tour them around the city and castle. The mess we made earlier woke up the whole school kasi nag interrupt na ang principal namin mismo. Gin and the others talked about it with Principal and the professor involved as of the moment doon sa Principal's Office habang kami ay hindi na pinasali ni Gin. Sabi nga niya, he'll handle everything knowing that they have disrespected not only his junior but a higher royalty. It's actually a taboo here. HIndi ko naman hiling na makulong sila, I just want them to learn their lesson but if prison is the only answer, then so be it.

"Sinabi ni Principal eh," sagot ko and I rested my head on the table.

"You are unsually calm about this," singit ni Kailani.

"Why not?" I asked at bumangon ako at napatingin sa kanya. "The people will find out soon anyway, mas mabuti ng ganon. Isa pa, they'll stop insulting you," I added.

"It's fine. I've been living with insults since I was a kid. That's not actually my concern. My concern here is you, you're having a hard time controlling your temper these days. Ilang beses ko na napansin iyon, I mean- not me only, I'm sure everyone noticed it," Kailani answered.

"You've changed a lot, Your Highness," Nieve said with a smile.

"Is it bad?" I asked because me myself noticed my changes too. My calm self turned into a harsh person who wants to solve things through violence. I even wished how I could break that girl's neck back then. I threatened her on killing her and her bloodline.

"No," Kali replied. "It just means you're growing," he added. "I witnessed your growth as we go mission together in a short span of time and I'm happy to see you grow, Cygnus," he added at umiwas ako ng tingin para itago ang ngiti ko. "I don't really get how my brother found you and how he is fond of you when I first met you but when we got together, I knew why. You're growing up in a fast pace but you know you're right," he added. Why is he talking this seriously?

"I once read the King's journal along with Prince Kali and you're personality symbolizes the previous Spirit Martial. You are really his son," Nieve said with a smile.

"Journal? Why is he keeping a journal with Cygnus' father in it?" Kailani asked.

"Unrequited love," Kali said with a sad smile at napatingin ako sa kanya. Unrequited love? "My father was born as an only son so at a young age, he was engaged to my mom. He didn't really have much care about the world and everything. He doesn't like the world because he never really felt alive but that changed when a random stranger went into my father's room. The previous Spirit Martial was his new butler. He was good at his job even if they are both in the same age. Hindi na napansin ni Dad na he wanted your father's seal the whole time so he let him drank a wine. Your father became my father's partner which your father thought it was an accident because he bit my father when he was drunk. It didn't really affect the castle because it was normal but what didn't my dad knew is that, he loved him- he wanted to be with him forever- if only he could give him the world he deserve, he will but he can't." he added at nasaktan ako sa sinabi niya. Kailani, although he's an uncrowned prince- he is still a prince. Dadating rin ba ang panahon na kailanagan naming pakawalan ang sarili para mabuhay ng normal?

"He can't because?" Kailani asked with a serious tone.

"Because he was engaged and he's the only son," Kali replied with a smile. He's the uncrowned prince and I know he loves Nieve. Is it why he's not making any move to him because he's engaged too? "My father loved Cygnus' father so much to the point that he had to endure all the tortures that my grandfather gave him when he confessed that he loved him. He endured anything for him. All those sacrifices were never put into place when Cygnus' father got drunk and happened to be with a girl. It was my grandfather's plan to make him drunk and my grandfather expected the girl to get impregnated. Cygnus' mother was the strongest female Spirit Caster and was framed by my grandfather too. Since then, their relationship ended but they stayed as partners. Cygnus' father didn't want to tell my father about a dangerous enemy since my mother was pregnant with Kailani at that time so he had to face Lucifer on his own- sacrificing his own life, without even meeting his son. It was over 20 years ago but up until now, my father kept waiting for him even if he will never comeback again," he added. This is the most tragic story I've ever heard.

"Are you engaged?' I asked. His voice narrating the story was kind of shaky. Does he see himself in it?

"No," he asked. "I don't want to marry someone I don't love," he replied.

"You know you have to marry and have kids, that's your role." sagot ni Kalani. "And that's f****d up. It's a mess. Why do we have to carry this burden for the people? All they do is judge. It's not worth it, not even worth trying," he added and Kali's eyes widened maybe because Kailani was right.

"You don't understand," Kali replied.

"I know. I'm abandoned after all," sagot niya and he stood up. He sighed and he began to stretch his arms. "But if I were you, ipaglalaban ko iyan. I don't wanna carry my father's unrequited legacy." he added at napangiti ako. I think I chose the right person to love. I'm lucky. So lucky.

"I'm the Spirit Martial's son and I'm supposed to bear a child, right?' I asked. "To pass my legacy?" I asked and Kali nodded. "Everyone can be a Spirit Martial- it doesn't run in blood, it runs on a person's will." I added.

"So even if everyone will pressure you, hindi ka manganganak?" Kali asked.

"I told you," I said with a smile as I watch both Kali and Nieve. "I will never abandon your brother," I added and he smiled.

"Good to hear that then," he said. "I guess following your sill advises is a good plot twist then," he added and he began to chuckle.

The door opened at pumasok si Gin kaya tumayo kami.

"Everything is under control now," he said. "Go home and have a rest for the next few days. I don't accept defeat in your fights. I have high expectations towards your team,' he added with a smirk.

"Right," Kali answered at nauna na siyang naglakad palabas kaya sumunod kami.

The school grounds were surprisingly quiet kaya matiwasay rin ang paglalakad namin papunta sa labas. Napatingin ako kay Kailani na nakatingin sa paligid. I can't help but smile but hindi pa rin nawawala ang anxiety kasi possible pa ring mangyari iyon. I looked away at napatingin sa baba. I watched my footsteps and it was making me more anxious. My eyes widened when Kailani hedld my hand and he began to interwined our fingers. I raised my head at napatingin ako sa kanya.

"Face forward, Cygnus." he said with a faint smile. "You might get lost," he added.

"I won't," sagot ko and I gripped my hand harder.

As long as I have you, I won't get lost.
