Octagon- in geometry, its a figure with 8 sides- but when it comes to our team, it means 8 members. I thought school name ang dadalhin naming pangalan pero hindi pala which is kind of cool also. This Mahika Tournament is for Agartha only, pag naging champion kami, we'll be dealing in the All Stars Mahika Tournament which means we'll be dealing with the strongest spirit caster students in the whole world. Napahawak ako sa dibdib ko dahil sa excitement. I wanna win this so bad.

"That's all for our meeting," the annoncer said at umalis sa harap.

Nandito kaming lahat sa loob ng stadium para sabihan kami ng rules. Dito ini-held kasi ang school namin ang pinakamalaki sa buong Agartha. Konti lang naman pala ang teams, akala ko aabot kami ng sampung teams but we actually seven teams in total so meaning pala, there are only 7 schools here in Agartha. Although we are strong, may mga napapansin rin naman akong mga malalakas sa ibang team so we shouldn't be underestimating them. Underestimating enemies is a bad habit kasi ikakatalo talaga namin iyan.

According to the announcer kanina, the Mahika Tournament will be held in the castle grounds kasi malaki ang space doon. The arena before was destroyed because of Tempest daw kasi kaya ayon, inaayos pa hanggang ngayon. Palakihan lang daw ng points until the final day. Basically, we'll all be facing one member in every team and every win has 5 points, the losing team will have 2 points and if there is draw- then 3 points on each team. The Mahika Tournament will last for 5 days. The first 4 days will be the one on one fights and the last day will be the team fight. Hindi pa sinabi sa amin kung anong klaseng team fight ang last day but whatever it is, we'll win for sure.

The meeting just ended like that at pinaalis na kami. The teams are actually here rin kasi dito na sila sa central maghihintay sa further announcements. We only have 2 days left before the Mahika ngayon pa kami magtratraining dahil sa mga mission pinagagawa sa amin. Nakakapagod rin pero wala kaming choice. Naglakad kaming walo papunta sa likoran ng school and we saw some of the team members there kabilang na si Wylie. I bet they want to watch our training when in fact, this is our first day pa. We're actually behind when it comes to training but when it comes to strength? Hindi naman siguro.

Umupo kaming lahat sa nakahandang upoan habang pinagmamasdan ang mga professors namin na naghahanda. My eyes widened when a couple of students went out from the building at nagtungo sa training grounds. Nagtinginan kaming lahat dahil sa pagtataka. Hindi ba namin schedule ngayon?

"Good morning, Sir!!" the students shouted at lumingon sa amin. "Good morning, Your Highnesses!!" they added and I smiled nervously. Anong nangyayari dito? The principal really di told us na pumunta rito. Scam ba iyon?

"What's happening?" Kailani whispered.

"And what makes you think that I know?" I whispered back at tinuro niya si Kali kaya napatinign ako sa kanya.

"What's happening?" he asked and I frowned.

"The hell? Bakit ako tinatanong niyo? Hindi ko rin alam," I answered.

"Ikaw pinakamatalino sa amin, Prince Cygnus." Nieve answered and my I stared at them with disbelief.

"Seriously, hindi talaga alam. The principal told us to be here di ba? He even said taining," I replied at tumango silang tatlo. "Don't tell me we'll be instructors instead of students?" I asked and the professro suddenly walked in front of us at napatingin kami sa kanya ng dahan-dahan.

"As per principal's instruction, the Octagon will be your instructors for today,"

My eyes widened at nagtinginan ulit kaming apat.

"Now you know why we asked you," Kali replied at umiling ako. I was just guessing!! "You're good at guessing," he added and I clicked my tongue at umiwas ng tingin. Me? Instructor? Ano bang maitututro ko? I'm a healer at basi sa amoy ng magic molecules na nakapalibot sa kanila, I don't sense any healer.

For the next following hours, they started training. Napansin ko na hindi pinapakinggan si Nieve sa mga studyante niya and he really looked disappointed. Napatingin ako sa paligid, may mga tao pa rin pero hindi na ganon karami. Tumayo ako para puntahan si Nieve pero napatigil ako nang may napansin ako sa itaas. I looked up and saw a participant from other school. To be honest, he's attractive- his long white lashes and long white hair suits him, not to mention he has this red eyes. His red yes is natural and it's not an activated magic. He started smiling habang may tinitingnan sa baba. Sinundan ko ang tingin niya at napagtanto ko na nakatingin siya kay Nieve.

Nieve was giving tips about forming objects out of elements na meron ang mga studyante niya. Still, hindi parin siya pinakikinggan and to be honest I'm kinda piss off. Tumingin ulit ako sa lalaki sa itaas and he was gone already. I wonder who was that? Magkakilala kaya sila ni Nieve? He was staring at him like he was about to eat him up. Hindi ko na iyon pinansin at lumapit na ako ni Nieve.

"Ayaw ko nga! Hindi ako susunod sa isang katulad mo!" reklamo ng babaeng studyante. I stood in front of Nieve at nagulat ang gma studyanteng naka assign sa kanya.

"Kung ayaw niyong makinig, get lost," I said coldly at tinuro ko ang labasan ng training ground. "Get out," utos ko.

"HA! Isa ka pa! Taas na ng tingin mo sa sarili mo eh pareho lang naman kayo ni Kailani! SABIT LANG KAYO SA ROYAL FAMI-" putol niyang sabi dahil hinawakan ko ang bibig niya. Everyone stopped moving not because gusto nilang manuod but it just happened when I held her. I can actually break her jaw right now kung gusto ko and I'm trying to calm myself. It seemed like I stopped everyone's movements. My vision usually change into purple but this time- it turned yellow. What the hell is happening to my body?

"Do you have a death wish?" I asked coldly and she started trembling. I gripped harder and I heard a c***k from her jaw. She started screaming maybe because of the pain.

"CYGNUS!" Kali called at tumingin ako sa kanya. "Stop," he ordered. Bumitaw ako at napaupo ang babae habang hawak niya ang bibig niya. My magic deactivated and everyone was able to move already. The students went to her and tried to comfort her.

"Anyway," I said and I bent down. I made an eye to eye contact with the girl and she started trembling more. "Don't you dare mock my partner's name in front of me, you got that?" I asked and I touched her broken jaw. A small vine crawled into my hand with white flower and healed her jaw. "I might not break you jaw only, I might end your bloodline," I added coldly and the atmosphere changed.

Her jaw healed completely kaya tumayo ako. Nilagay ko ang mga kamay ko sa bulsa ng uniform ko and I looked down at her like I was looking to a trash. Well, I am really looking at a trash.

"Apologize," I said coldly at lumapit si Kailani sa akin.

"Cygnus, chill, it's fine," he said while holding my shoulder.

"It's not fine," sagot ko and I moved forward at nabitawan ni Kailani ang shoulder ko. "I said apologize," I said and I opened my palm, a sharp vine started to appear with purple flowers- aconite poison.

"I-I-I-I'm sorry!" she shouted and she knelt down.

"Good, so how about you listen to Nieve? Total royalties kayo di ba? Like true royalties? You may have that title eh ang hihina niyo. Anong silbi niyo pa? Kayo ata ang sabit sa royal family eh," I said with a smirk. "Stop acting like a trash," I added. "Not here," I added.

Ano na bang nangyayari sa akin? I can usually control my temper pero bakit parang hindi ko kayang kontrolin ngayon?

"With all due respect, Mr. Cygnus," our professor interrupted at halatang nilalabanan niya ang babae. Gin and the others moved beside me like they were telling me that they're with me. "You should still respect them as they have royal blood in them," he added at mas dumami ang mga tao. I even saw that white-man haired kanina. Lucas and Azul are even here.

"Hindi sila nakinig kay Nieve," Kali responded. "Why can't they respect that, professor? Hindi ko ito pinansin kanina but insulting brother is out of the line," reklamo niya. "Also, please address Cygnus as Prince- not Mr. Do you wanna lose your job?" reklamo ulit ni Kali.

"Professor, let's talk this out," Gin inserted with a calm voice. "Since the principal instructed us to teach them, at least let them show respect to us. Let's say royal blood runs in her blood but I believe Nieve's rank is higher than her," he said casually at tumayo lahat ng balahibo ko when he started smirking. "Higher than yours too, right professor?" he asked at napangiti ako. Ah- I love this team.

The silence was so loud at ang tanging naririnig lang namin ay ang ihip ng hangin.

"The training's done then," Tempest said and he clapped which means aalis na kami.

I did expect this to happen. Alam kong nandito pa rin ang paglolook down ng mga tao samin. Human minds are complicated. Kahit na ginawa mo na ang lahat para makuha mo ang praise ng mga tao- hindi lahat makakaappreciate ng ganon. No matter how hard a person will try to get the attention of everyone, it's impossible. I grew up like that before. Nakikitira lang ako sa relatives ko and I wanted to impress them, I want to let them know that I'm worth being adopted. I raised my ranks in academics, I do sports. Halos lahat ginawa ko na dati pero ganon pa rin. We don't really need people's approval to enjoy our life. In fact, what we need is self-approval because at the end of the day- the only companion we have is ourselves and it will never change. Kaya ko naman ang insulto pag sa akin eh pero huwag kay Kailani o kay Nieve. They have no right to judge them. If only I could kill them right now and right here.

Umalis na kaming lahat kaso napatigil kami when we heard our professor's footsteps towards us.

"You're right, Prince Gin." he said at lumingon kaming lahat. "But Mr. Cygnus bullied one of you, the royalties. Bakit mo siya nilalabanan?" he asked.

"It's Prince," singit ni Lucas at napatingin kaming lahat sa kanya. He walked forward with Azul and he smirked. "Prince Cygnus," he added and our professor frowned.

"And may I ask why? He's just a partner of an uncrowned prince,"

People are really challenging my patience right now. I moved forward at linagpasan ko si Gin para harapin ang professor.

"Why not?" I asked at napatingin ang professor namin sa akin. "I'm a purebreed royalty after all," I know I'm not supposed to say this but I have to and I don't care anymore. I added and everyone gasped.

"Whar's with the mess here?" biglang singit ni Principal but he was smiling. He heard everything. "Cygnus, ano na naman ang ginawa mo?" reklamo niya but it was in a sarcastic tone. He started tapping my head lightly. "I know you're the son of the previous Spirit Martial but please refrain from creating a big mess." he added with a smile. Our professor froze at napaupo siya sa sahig at ang iba. I glanced at the white-haired guy and he looked surprised as he was staring at me.

"Right, my apologies," sagot ko at naglakad papunta sa likod at tumabi kay Kailani.

"That was badass," he whispered.
