Nauna kaming naglakad ni Kailani pabalik sa pwesto namin kanina. Kali stayed behind because I feel like medyo awkward maglakad kasama ako habang may sugat sa leeg tapos may hawak pa akong ulo. There are blood all over the place habang naglalakad kami dahil bitbit ko ang ulo ng babaeng umatake sa amin. She's weak- this isn't the boss. Even if she's the right hand, she's still weak. But I wondered if she was really weak or is it because some new power suddenly awakened?

Nagptuloy kaming maglakad and we passed by a lot of dead lower demons hanggang sa umabot kami sa web na ginawa ko kanina. "The traitor," I said coldly. Hugo glanced at me with a surprise look as if he doesn't believe what I just brought. "Let's get over this, shall we?" I asked and I saw Gin clenched his fist.

"First years are really something else," he said with a nervous smile. "You guys are scarier than I expected," he added.

"No wonder Wylie won't talk about you when I asked him huh," singit ni Argo and I smirked.

"I guess?" I replied and I never heard silence that loud.

I took us a couple of minutes to gain courage para lapitan ang rotten body. "It's been so long, brother," Tempest said at tumayo siya kaya tumayo na rin kami. "We've been well," he added with a slight cracky voice which means he's really in deep pain.

"Rest in Peace," I whispered at pumikit ako.

I took a deep breath and I smelled somthing odd. A smell that I've smelled before. A strong foul smell to the point that I held my abdomen because I think lalabas ang lahat ng lamang-loob ko. I glanced at Kailani and he was watching on different direction. He glanced at me and I frowned.

"It's the same scent back in that log house, right?" I asked and he nodded.

"No doubt," he replied.

"Is it watching us?" Nieve asked.

"It's more like it's waiting for the right timing," Kali replied. "A predator waiting for it's prey to be in complicated position," he added.

We all glanced back at the others. Gin and Tempest were glancing tat the same direction that we glanced earlier.

"The lair," biglang sabi ni Lor kaya napatingin kami sa kanya. "We found it," he added.

"Unfortunately, they found us also," Argo added.

"What do you mean, Lor?" I asked.

The ground started cracking and the next thing we knew, the cracked ground opened completely and believe me, when I saw thousands of demons appeared simultaneously, it really happened. It happened so fast to the point that it caught me off guard. I was to stunned to do anything. Are we going to die? Here?! NOW?!

Tempest lighted up three flares and it flew into the sky. Right, we need reinforcements! We're just students!! We're not professionals tsaka isa pa, apat kaming first years dito! Not to mention that all these demons here are all A-Class! Tirik na tirik ang araw at lahat sila lulmabas mula sa ilalim!

"Oh my G-" putol kong sabi nang napansin kong parang tumigil ang oras. The demons stopped their movements- kahit isa, walang gumalaw. What the hell is going on? I glanced at Gin at agad ako napatakip ng bibig. He was breathing normally like he always do but his eyes were red. His hair grew longer and his human teeth grew some fangs. My eyes widened when his skin were filled with shiny silver scales. This is like Kailani's! I CAN'T BELIVE I WITNESSED ANOTHER LIKE THIS! Napalunok ako at napahawak sa dibdib ko. This is giving me butterflies in my stomach- this is such a rare opportunity knowing that I am watching an S-Class Spirit Caster!

I looked around and the A-Class demons slowly turned into stone. I gasped at napatakip sa bibig ko. No way! NO WAY! He did that by just trasforming?!

"Nuisance," he said coldly and he clicked his tongue. Just like that, the demons turned into stone and they all exploded. Kahit anong hanap ko, ni-isang demon walang buhay. Kami lang ata ang nananatiling nakatayo dito.

"That's what you get when you make our Captain angry," Lor said and chuckled. He glanced at us and signalled us to jump away so we did. We jumped back to the trees at nanatili lang doon sina Gin at Tempest. After a couple of minutes, a demon appeared from the opposite direction- it's where the smell is coming from. It's aura is heavy and I'm sure it's stronger than us. To be honest, it's kinda giving me chills and my knees started trembling. It's three times stronger than that girl I have encountered earlier.

"That's an S-Class boss," Argo said and my eyes widened.

"Ha? Bakit tayo nandito?! We have to help them," sagot ko.

"We'll handle the rest," Lor said and pointed behind us. I glanced behind and their I saw thousands of demons papunta sa amin. "They'll handle the boss and we'll handle this. We have to make sure na hindi sila madidistorbo," he added at napalunok ako.

"We'll leave here together so we have to settle things here together," Kali said and his eye color changed.

"We have to stop this until the reinforcements will arrive," Nieve said we heard three flares na medyo malapit na sa amin. "See? They're coming, we'll have to deal with this," he added and I nodded.

"Okay then," I said.

"How about a contest?" biglang sabi ni Hex.

"A contest?" Kailani asked.

"Total, we are all future candidates so I how about we'll choose the final candidates here? Kung sino man ang may pinakamaraming mapatay na demons ang magiging final candidates. Top 4 na pinakamarami," Hex replied and I grinned. Now, this is getting interesting.

Hex snapped his fingers and a magic number appeared in our wrist.

"That will count the demons that we'll be killing, deal?" he asked.

"Deal," we all said in chorus.

"Let the games begin, then?" Hex said.
