Alas nueve nang umuwi si Samir sa bahay ng ama. Nasa living room pa si Benjamin at ang bunsong kapatid na si Wael. Umupo siya sa sofa habang hawak pa ang susi ng kotse at telepono.
"Why do you have to hire Katlin, Papa? Are you still seeing each other?" mahinahon niyang tanong.
"Lumapit siya sa 'kin dahil kailangan daw niyang mag-OJT, so I gave her a job. Matagal na kaming walang ugnayan ni Katlin. I only showed you what kind of a woman she is."
"Bakit kailangang personal na sekretarya pa siya? You could've put her in one of our encoders or sales representative."
"It was just a three-month OJT thing, Samir. At nariyan pa naman si Rosa na hindi ko tinanggal. Katlin will only answer calls for me and do some cleaning in my office, mga trabahong hindi mabigat ang responsibilidad.
